This stuff is great!! It's cheaper to buy in bulk, although if it could come cut in half that would make it even better. I do with they gave better instructions on how much water to add when expanding the whole block, but adding warm water 2 gallons at a time (from a watering can) lets me control how wet the coco coir ends up. FYI, I think it took appx 6 gallons of warm water. I'm using it as a soil filler (I add compost and worm castings to make it go further) I'm taking them at their word that it's been pre rinsed!! This is a great product and I intend to keep some in my arsenal of go-to garden items from now on.
