the directions are very simple, but if you DONT read them, you will get lost and forget to actually turn on the alarm, which...you know. is the whole point of the clock. ANYWAYS, the clock works great. wakes the uterus goblin up like a charm, the selections of music is nice (she chose the xmassy one) and even tho she hasnt figured out how to turn off the alarm completely, it definitely does its job. the colors are lovely, its easy to program (just actually read the directions) and its small enough to snug onto an incredibly messy dresser that she has yet to clean. so basically, if you want your kid to have a nice alarm clock that will shake them awake with its dulcimer tones, get this one.

We were searching for a clock that would glow yet didn't have the numbers lit up continuously throughout the night. This fits the bill perfectly. To turn the lights on you simply push the top softly and it is lit up changing colors until it is pushed down again. When lit up the clock is not blaring or overly bright, sort of a soft glow. The tunes for the alarm are soft yet loud enough to be effective. The price is right for a clock for our eight year old's room. If it gets thrown or damaged it is easily replaceable. The display is nice and clear. We would highly recommend this clock.

I ordered this for my 6 and 7 year old boys who share a room. I love it because it acts as a night light but also gives them the independence of waking up when the alarm goes off. They’ve taken to it and love it too! This has made my mornings easier!

I bought this for my 10 year old. It was easy to set up. I like that it’s battery powered so it can be used anywhere in the room. Her room stays much cooler than the rest of the house so the temperature reading is important. It does need to be used on a solid surface since the buttons to shut it off are on the bottom. You just push the whole alarm clock down to shut it off. She loves the colors.

Great, for the price! If the alarm has a volume, I haven't found it. I'd love to be able to turn it up a little. I've got rechargeable batteries in it - will see how long they last before changing! It can be a little hard to see the display if you aren't at the right angle. This is not a clock for "across the room". It doesn't really matter to me how hard it is to see, though, because I bought it for the dog. And she can't read the display, no matter WHICH angle she's at. She always wants to know if it's 4:00 yet, time for dinner. Now she doesn't have to keep asking me, over and over for 45 minutes! When the "ball" sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, it's TIME! That was her favorite alarm choice. She picked it out of all the available options. (Yes, the note about already having been fed breakfast in my photo is actually a note for the humans, believe it or not.) The glowing light feature is cool, but we don't really need to use it.

The clock is not easy to use. The only thing easy about it is turning the light on and off. To turn the alarm off in the morning, our daughter has to pick the alarm clock up and turn it over. Then she has to find the one out of four identical buttons and look closely enough to find the tiny letters that say “Al” for Alarm. This is hard for a child to do in the dark. Not very much thought went into the making of this product. We wish we didn’t buy it, but it had 5 stars for some reason... I don’t know how it could have gotten such good reviews.

We purchased this clock for our six year old son. To learn how to tell time and to help in potty training because of every other day accidents. The clock provides great light and is used as a night light. It’s multi alarm tones makes it fun for our son and knows when he hears that tune in the morning it’s time to wake up and use the restroom. It has helped greatly and is well worth buying in our opinion.

For the money this is a great clock and my son loves it. The led lighting is nice. the round shape is nice. the musical alarm settings are nice. the fact that it has a thermometer and alarm with snooze is nice. it does NOT have a great snooze nor alarm-off button though... not great when you awake and you have to find a tiny button on the bottom to turn it off or snooze it. while that is one significant problem with design this is otherwise a great little fun clock for kids. would also be nice if the round clock was not so slippery to hold... perhaps needs a rubber coating or some sort of grip lines.
