I have tried, and returned, quite a few alarm clocks. I was trying to replace my exceedingly ugly, but VERY LOUD, old Insignia clock because I am in the process of beautifying my bedroom after getting new nightstands. Okay, I have the old clock on the floor next to the bed, under the bed skirt, as a backup, but whatever. This clock is GREAT! I’m sorry that I didn’t get the mirror finish, because it’s pretty, but tbh I don’t want to see my face upon waking. That happened with another mirrored clock. Ack. I returned that one because it basically squeaked and I overslept. That’s when I decided to put the old clock on the floor, and removed it from the donate bag. This clock beeps loudly. This is also a benefit, because my old clock was set to the radio, and sometimes I would just have noisy dreams instead of waking up. Yes, the sound is annoying. You WILL get up to stop it, lol. The media could not be loaded. (Mini disclaimer, I just like to have an alarm clock to glare the time at me because for some reason checking my phone doesn’t cut it but I set my actual alarms on my phone only) I do my best to update reviews, and ALWAYS do so if the product fails me so if you don’t see an update, assume this is still working perfectly for me! The colors are amazing! The RGB is beautiful and changes gracefully, I adore the ability to adjust the brightness on both the clock and colors; setting the time was a breeze especially compared to my old one which was a whole Task. It’s smaller than expected by an inch or two but I don’t look at measurements so that’s on me haha, it’s still incredibly nice and visible. I can see it from my bed and read it when peeking my head in from the hallway! The cord is a decent length, normally I would appreciate that it’s not obnoxiously long but in my case I would have appreciated an extra inch or two. However my situation is only applicable if you’ve got it on a tall dresser and you’re plugging it in at floor level. (See video/photos) Overall it’s amazing and highly worth it! ... show more

Very easy to set and has many color combinations to choose from. The numbers are very large and very visible especially at night. The color changing makes for a fantastic night light and it has a dimming feature but I like mine as bright as possible and it’s awesome. Would totally recommend.

I like the colors and it looks nice but I wish it had some more features to it . For example, played music or I wish you could pair with a phone . I wish you could set it only on weekdays without doing it manually and I wish it had more different sound options. The alarm sounds like a loud cricket. My 8 yr daughter loves how colorful and easily adjustable the colors are and it really helps her get up on her own. The sound is adjustable so she can chose an alarm that is loud enough to wake her, but not ao loud it starles her awake. It doubles as a nice nightlight for her too.

My boyfriend asked for an alarm clock that was EXTRA loud and had large numbers that he could see from across the room. He also loves lots of color, so I thought this would be perfect. He loves it! Says it’s very loud (and he’s hard of hearing!). You can change up the colors and he likes that too.

Had it almost a year then it decided to break. You can't plug in or anything anymore. The max volume for the alarm isn't very loud either.
