    • Lightweight for simple drain cleaning with the long steel coil
To open clogged or semi-clogged drains it works well. Needs a little practice to get motion right with the length of coil pulled out and anchored down. Use caution when tightening thumb screw. Gloves and sink drain hair remover item is a nice touch.

    • Well, it works in most scenarios, just not mine
I got this because I have a clogged downspout. It's light enough I can get it up the ladder safely. I have had to call in a professional because the clog is too severe for this tool, but Im keeping it because I KNOW im going to need to unclog some other drain at some point soon. Unfortunately the bolt comes loose very easily and after a point, too much comes unspooled all at once. ... show more

Successfully used and cleared clog on first entry. We have a claw foot tub, because of the angles of the pipes the snake could fit down the drain but I couldn't get past the p-trap with so many right angles. I ended up going through the tub overflow and with a little patience got through the p-trap just fine, had to pin the snake and spin a few times to help it progress, but eventually got it far enough down and when I pulled it out I got the nasty clog undone. I bought this because of the price ($20) and reviews, and was pleasantly surprised. the rubber gloves that come with it are quality and will save to use again. The tool itself felt heavyweight and was much sturdier than I expected. Overall really pleased and would totally recommend, can see us using this often as I have long hair ... show more

It is easy to use. Unless you really need major unclogging that should good enough to do most jobs follow how to on you tube many videos will help you if your not to sure how to use it correctly

In fact not only was it used on the toilet but a bathroom vanity was snaked as well. It was not indicated for this but it worked so 2 uses it had paid for itself in saved plumbing fees!
