UPDATE: Below this update is the original review which still holds. The clock keeps perfect time. I've now checked this after 24 hours of running and it is 100% accurate. I bought this for a room that doesn't have direct sunlight but does have ceiling lights that shine onto some of the walls. This clock is perfect for such a location and really brightens up the room. Clocks seem to be a forgotten item in today's digital world but they used to be centerpieces on walls providing not only the time information but also something interesting to look at. The delivery was very fast and the packaging was first class. The clock with all it's various sized extensions might seem hard to package but the seller figured it out nicely and secured the clock's back the the back of the package using two small screws and a backing plate made of plastic. For this reason it's important you try not to just pull it out of the packaging but remove the backing plate and two small screws, then bend out the one of the sides and gently pull the lock out, angling it to avoid bending the extensions. As it is packaged, even rough handling by delivery personnel won't harm it, good job! The manufacture is very good, the extensions are nicely soldered and sturdy. While the clock might appear fragile, it is not and the delicate appearance lends to a nice look no matter where you place it. There is an adjustment wheel behind the clock face above where the AA battery goes, use this to adjust the time rather than turning the clock's hands. It's easy to adjust the time and there is just the slightest tic tic tic as the clock counts time. If you are a super light sleeper and ticking watches bother you then consider a test before placing this where you sleep. I found the ticking very quiet but then this clock is so much better suited for a study, the kitchen or another room. The size is about 15" in diameter so it should fit well on smaller walls or used as a centerpiece for other wall art or pictures. If your walls have any yellow in the color, even a tint this clock will look really nice and help brighten up the room's atmosphere quite a bit. If any sun or light strikes the clock it really increases the appearance, the cabochons sparkle and the clock draws your attention. The design of the clock is well thought out, I really like it. If there was one thing I wish the seller would consider - offer a larger size in addition to this one. With two, this one being the smaller and a larger one, say 20" diameter or even 24" diameter, larger area walls would look fantastic. With two clocks, different rooms would have some continuity, say this one in a kitchen and the larger one in a family room or front living room. The clock' font is easy to read and being analogue, doesn't make you guess, the arms clearly point the time. Considering the price, this clock is well worth the price and when hung on a wall adds a warm atmosphere. If you've read my other reviews you know that I give praise where due and criticism in the same way. I'd recommend this clock if you are looking for good value, good manufacture, a great style and a way to brighten up a room while also providing the practicality and utility of an easy to read clock. If you are tired of the digital clocks that are about as pretty as a mobile phone, consider this clock, I bet it will be a nice addition. ... show more

I was initially disappointed in the size of the clock. I thought it would be much larger. It is a beautiful clock and I love the design. I added the leaves to the wall and they accented perfectly.

Really pretty can't wait to find the perfect place to hang it. Worth the money just to look at it. But not sure how to take it out of the box. There is 2 black buttons on the back of the box with a piece of clear tape in between maybe that needs to be cut to take it off the box
