I ordered these to retrofit into sponge filters that don't come with air stones because I wanted finer bubbles. I generally cut out the air intake parts in the sponge filter and insert these. On some I've taken a knife and cut down the plastic stem on these and super glued them to the filter intake. They're a good circumference to fit in the original housing.

Save your money I thought these air stones initially or terrific. After approximately one week to 10 days they started malfunctioning and the airflow was minimal at best. Save your money by the cheaper ones these are not worth the money

Item works, but not the same size as described. I have a VERY small sponge filter and had this item been the .92 inches in length it would have fit. The stone itself is over an inch and with the nozzle the total length is nowhere near as advertised. No big deal for most, but if space is tight for you make sure you have room!

I bought these to use in my sponge & box filters. They're working out really well so far. They can handle the higher air pump pressure that I prefer but skinny enough to fit easily in the lift tubes without back pressure. I would buy these again.

Quality is okay. However, holes / bubbles are too fine and it allows very little air to flow through it.

They are air stones. They work. Good price for a handful of fine aeration stones. The plastic nipple on one slipped out immediately, but that goes with the hobby and one out of ten is good odds for air stones. Will buy again next time I am in need.
