    • Solid product and good value
With the discount, I purchased this fire pit for just south of $140.00 a few weeks ago. I was a bit leery, considering there were no reviews (at that time). And I recognized, by doing some comparison shopping on Amazon and other places, that many of these pits are just mix-and-match branding, meaning that they come from the same factories in China, are tweaked (if at all) by a company, and then sold under different names. Some are selling for cheaper, some for lower. You are always taking a chance. I also bought this one because I didn't want a top-plate that was metal, fearing that it would be more subject to rust and discoloration as these things aren't built to withstand moisture. It arrived well-packaged. No hint that this was a re-packaged return. Yes, it was shipped from the States and produced in China. No biggie. All the parts were there. It took approx. 1 hour to assemble. Thing is, it has some heft to it. You might want help moving it from place to place. And, once the marble-esque slabs are in place on top, the thing doesn't move from side-to-side or wobble at all. The included glass beads are fine. But I supplemented them with some additional blue beads. After inserting the not-supplied battery and the not-supplied propane tank, I lit the thing up. Beautiful! At low, it does a great job. At the higher levels, it is quite hot in the immediate area. And, yes, the thing does hiss a bit. But that is to be expected, given that you are running a propane tank. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, esp. given that it provides more than some similar (and some popularly branded) products. If I were to guess, a negative complaint regarding things being bent is not the fault of the seller, but the shipper (a common Amazon complaint malady). And, if it is missing a piece? Hmm. That would suggest a repackaged product. And I would ask Amazon for a refund (full or partial, as listed in the refund policy). Respectfully, and if only to me, OutVue is not a horrible company. Recommended based on my experience. Oh, one more thing: buy a gosh darn cover. Again, these things are not rust-proof! Hey, Okie Hoss: stop yelling and adjust your star rating. I mean, STOP YELLING AND ADJUST YOUR STAR RATING!!! ... show more

    • Beautiful Outdoor addition for the Price
I wanted something to add warmth and charm to my sitting area on the porch. This more than filled the bill. With two people, the assembly was not difficult. Follow the instructions to NOT tighten bolts until all sides are on (we had to do some slight readjustments as we were adding the sides because we had not interpreted the picture of how legs should go on correctly). But they do a great job of making sure A goes to A, B to B, and so forth. The real joy comes when you light it the first time. Just adorable and cozy. So glad I purchased this! Great price, shipped fast, made well, Wasn't too hard to put together, it's heavy,85lbs, it has real ceramic tile panels that sit in the top, very nice. Easy to light, flames look good. Good product.

The media could not be loaded. I still think this is a good table fireplace, but after some serious stormy and windy weather. I did have it covered. I have noticed a tiny rust spot developing on one side by the glass rocks. I'm disappointed in that. I think I can fix it, but that pit part should be rust proof. I changed the rating from 5 to 4. I do enjoy it and it has worked very well. After looking at all of the fire tables that were the 30"X30" I needed for my patio, I chose this one for the following reasons: 1. powder coated metal. 2. rust resistant. 3. no lava rocks. (Lava rocks explode when they are wet and then heat up.) 4. ceramic tile adds interest, is durable, and is easy to clean. 5. slats are open so there is no worry about any accidental gas build up. 6. cover included 7. and most importantly - igniter and power knob are inside the door and not outside. This is a great safety feature if you have kids or grand-kids. Out of sight, out of mind. Assembly is easier with two people. I did it by myself. It took more than the 30 minutes it would if 2 people assemble it. I had some difficulty with it because I didn't have another pair of hands holding the sides for me when having to screw the sides together, even so it's easy to assemble. I'm enjoying it very much! It delivers exceptionally well on the aesthetics, the adjustable heat output, the safety, easy cleaning, and the construction is solid. My only disappointment is the powder coating on the cover was scratched a bit by a ceramic flower pot I had on top of it when the fire table was being used without the fire. I recommend it! Love it! Perfect! Everything we hoped it would be! Absolutely beautiful on our deck! Easy assembly. Some reviews said they purchased extra glass but we feel it came with perfect amount. Easy to ignite. Order it you won’t be disappointed!

This is a small 30'x30' table. Tile surrounds the fire pit. The propane tank (not included) sits inside the base of the table and has a built-in ignition button / low to high flame. The circle flame looks very nice even on low gas setting and I can feel the heat of the flame after a minute. Easy to assembly and looks exactly like the product photo. It arrived on time. No obvious damage to the box. All the pieces were there. I assembled it myself. Took just over an hour. It would be easier with 2 people. But not unmanageable to do alone. It did not require a drill. I’m very happy with how it looks and works. I did buy a valve to attach to the tank to keep track of the gas in the tank. It was $25 at Home Depot.
