I recently got my hands on the JOOLA Ben Johns Pickleball Set, and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed! I’ve been playing pickleball for a while now, but this set really took things up a notch for me. If you’re looking for a paddle that feels sturdy but not too heavy, this might be the one. Build Quality: The paddles are made with reinforced fiberglass and honeycomb polypropylene, which, to be honest, I didn’t really know much about before using it, but wow, it really makes a difference. The fiberglass part gives your shots some serious pop, and the honeycomb core keeps it light but strong. The paddles feel well-made and seem like they’ll hold up for a while, even with some intense games. I was a little worried they might get banged up easily, but so far, so good! Performance: Out on the court, this paddle just feels right. The balance is spot on, not too heavy or too light, so it’s easy to react quickly when things get heated. I’m more of a control player, but even when I need to power through shots, it delivers. The fiberglass gives a nice boost when I need it, but I don’t feel like I’m losing touch on those softer shots. Really solid set. I'm just learning pickleball as a beginner, along with my friends and family. This set appears to be much higher quality than the others that my family got at Target or sporting goods stores. I like the paddles and the balls a lot. There isn't much texture on the paddle, but they are consistent and light and have held up well so far. If I had one complaint, the carry case could be a little bit bigger, it can be hard to fit the balls and paddles in sometimes.

I purchased this item on Prime Deal days. At the sale price, it’s a great value! I picked up two sets for our family of four and it’s been a lot of fun. Quality is very good and it’s nice that it comes in a case with four balls. It’s worth noting that the surface of the paddles are smooth and not textured. Thus is why I’ve deducted one star because this wouldn’t work for an advanced player or anyone that wants to exert spin. Still, I highly recommend for recreational fun with family and friends.

Fantastic set for beginners! I just started a few months ago and this is my second set. I bought a less expensive alternative that I really loved but they didn’t last long. These have lasted much longer and are of much higher quality

Bought these for my dad because he was getting into pickleball. They're a solid beginner set. For anyone who wants to try out the sport, I think they're great. However, after you get beyond the beginner stage, you'll probably want to upgrade to something more advanced.
