These saved our chickens! The sun was unbearable in their run in the summer, and we didn’t know what to do. There is very little shade near their run. We draped these over their run, and now the chickens are happy and so much cooler! These covered much more area than I expected. They were easy to install. We just used zip ties to hold them down using the grommets on them. They lasted all throughout summer storms and blazing sun. They’re thick enough to block out the sun and keep the chickens cool, but they’re not so thick that the sun can’t come through. One of the metal eyes was sharp on the inside, and it does not come with rope to affix it with. Provides good shade. It needs more than four attaching points to make it reasonably flat. Does the job.
