I got two sets of lights in the box. Packed much better than other companies. The first night, they both ran fine and were brighter than their competitors by a considerable amount. Photos don't do them justice, but they are 33% brighter than the set I had. Issue: The second night, one stopped working. I have sent a request to the sellers. I hope everything will be sorted out because they look great when they work. I will give the seller a chance before I return to Amazon. Update 01: The Seller JMEXSUSS Store responded promptly and offered to remedy the problem with no hassle. I am very pleased with the quality of their customer service so far. It's good to know they consider even an inexpensive product as important. This level of attention makes me feel more confident about buying from them in the future. I will update here as things progress.

Starting with setup: each solar panel installs relatively easily, but I bought these for my daughters outdoor play set so I screwed the brackets into wood. The clamps had to be removed to even have a chance of putting the screws in with a power drill, and even still clearance is tight and I couldn’t find any of my extensions at the time. After that the solar panels are easy to angle and secure to the brackets. There is a length of blank wire to extend for the first lights, but I did not measure it to figure out if it’s included in the total length that’s advertised, but I bet it is. The wire itself barely feels insulated and are two separate strands loosely twisted together and have the consistency and feel of fine floral wire. They are very thin, kink easily, and get tangled easily if you’re not careful unrolling them. **TIP: I recommend you putting something round through each roll to act as a spindle before you start. They constantly want to tie the whole thing in a knot if you don’t have something keeping the roll tidy. Performance wise I think they’re reasonably bright for what they are. They kick on at sunset like they’re supposed to, and stay on well after most people go to bed. **They will NOT work the night after a cloudy day** I thought they were toast after the first rainy weekend, but once we had a sunny day again they worked like normal. I can’t complain since I got them for a cyber Monday deal. They’re much dimmer than plug in lights but my daughter loves them on her play set.

Love the choice of eight modes. While the string of lights are very thin, the wheel they are wound onto made it very easy to place around the medium sized bushes at my home. They stayed lit at night at least seven hours before I went to bed.

I bought two of the multi colored strands back in April to try and have some cool flashing lights around my trampoline. At first it looked great and the kids loved it. Then I realized half the lights weren't working because one of the strands got split because I didn't think about not putting the lights where the kids were getting in and out of it. Alright, my bad, no biggy I have a second strand we will try this again. So mind you some how part of the split strand still works so I decided to keep it where it was so this time the lights would fully surround the trampoline cause it was just short with just one. So I leave the space where ladder is empty and start on journey of winding this in and out yet again for a second time in one day, this is harder and more time consuming than one would think, but hey its for the kids right. Finally finish this one and it looks super cool. Unfortunately this was the only night this was able to be enjoyed because for some unknown reason that whole new strand has never turned back on. Super sucks because they are for real so pretty and bright when they work. I would get more but its just not worth the price if they only work one day. Totally worth the price if they would last even a year but obviously more would be preferred. Take your shot at it and maybe you'll get some out of a good batch cause if you do they are great and obviously energy efficient and versatile due to not having to plug in.

I have bought 4 boxes and I'm pleased with them ,I put them in a lamp post last year and they lasted thru the winter, I put them in hanging lanterns for summer and hang them and there bright, the reason I did this review is I put them all on a steady mode and I just looked out the front window and one of them is going crazy on and off ,it was fine last week lol.so far that's the only thing I've seen wrong, I have spent tons of money thru the years for the solar lights you stick in the ground, I like these better there very versatile.

These lights are pretty good overall. A little pricey, but you do get a 4-pack which makes it worth it. I’d definitely recommend the warm white over the pure white—the warm is way cozier and gives such a nice glow at night. They can be a little tricky to untangle and put up, but once in place they look super cute. I wrapped them around the landscaped rock areas in my front and back yard, and it’s such a nice touch. The battery life is decent—lasts a fair amount of time after charging, not amazing but not bad either. One big tip: the wires are VERY thin. I accidentally cut through one of my cool-toned sets while working in the yard, which ruined them completely. Totally my fault, but definitely be careful with placement.
