I use these for embroidery and thought they were great. Awesome color assortment, soft threads that didn’t split. Was pretty easy to separate the strands apart, as long as you don’t just yank it. The only thing I’d say is that they come vacuum sealed and when you take them apart some of the stickers can be stuck to the thread and pull it a little bit trying to get them apart, but nothing major if you’re patient. Newer to the craft of cross stitch and wanted to build up my own stock to do patterns I find online or will one day make myself. I got a total of 178 of the 180 advertised colors. For the price and what it is, losing two isn't a huge deal. I'm not sure which ones they are, but no worries really. This is a better floss than some others I've tried. It is a softer fabric, has a bit of sheen to it in the light. I find this kind of yarn knots less and if it does knot its easier to undo. Great amount of colors This set did come with B5200, Ecru, Blanc, Black and all basic colors. I will be ordering more colors soon, so will more than likely stick with this brand and just buy a bigger bundle! Then I'll have doubles! I did buy two storage units seperate from this, I am about 36 spots short, so will need to order a 3rd, just to hold all of my bobbins! Even more after my next yarn order 🤦♀️ lol. Hope all this helps! Good luck and have fun! Edit May 15 I was using the 3811 for a pattern and ran out. Sent my partner to the craft store for the name brand of that color and when I compared the 2 the name brand was a shade darker. It wasn't by much, but it was enough to tell a difference. I will continue using this thread as long as I don't have to worry about color matching. The thread is so soft and tangles 10x less then the name brand. It would be so cool to be able to buy this brand as individual colors, I can't believe I like it better than the name brand! ... show more

If you have ever bought/used anything like this before it’s the exact same it’s thick you can pull it apart and get smaller strings but ofc if you don’t do it right it will get tangled it’s easy to use i mean this product doesn’t need much explaining it works its not the best it’s not the worst and it’s cheap i will say i think they have longer pieces for sale bc the thread isnt that long so if your needing a lot of any color i would definitely recommend buying more of one color because it’s definitely limited to how big of a piece you can make with it ... show more
