Description

Crossflow technology makes the flow return to pump directly 360 degrees without dead spots create a different type of flow similar to wavemaker. Clockwise the flow as you set mode h: normal flow rate as the speed output w1: wave box function. Idea for setting a pulse mode for set wave box function w2: normal mode with clockwise 4mins to 99mins w3: normal mode with reef mode feed mode 10mins.

Using this in a NUVO IM30 long, 36x12x15 On the lowest setting, it’s quite a bit too strong for my 30 gallon. I have it set up for the sine waves setting and you can hear a small hum when it sends power to the gyre to start up every few seconds. The media could not be loaded. I like it so far, suggest to start on the lower setting, when I installed I had it at full power and my Duncan was going side way, I lower the setting to lowest and looks about right I have a 90 gallon tank, 48” long, 18” wide, 24” deep, and is strong enough for my tank, is only two days now let’s see how long it last ... show more

This wave maker is good value for the money. It is a bit noisy when you set it to the sine wave setting. It makes a sort of whine noise. Other than that it works great.

    • Good startup Gyre but noisy
It gives my 32G tank a great flow and I'm at the lowest setting. I just wish they had a slower speed than their slowest one in a gyre. There is a whining noise which is disturbing sometimes.

In my 75gal it moves large amount of water I can't turn it above the lowest setting without it blowing everything around but hands down give it 5 stars it allowed me to remove other power heads
