If you go to places where there are not any Tesla Superchargers this is a very good accessory. I have used it for a couple of years, and it works well. Sometimes have to work on making sure the charge port is fully hooked up properly as an example to a Shell supercharger, but overall it will do. Even having used it many times I am not sure whether it is easier to first put it in the Tesla charge port and connect the non Tesla charger or to put everything together first and then put it in your car's charging port

On a recent trip, I had to stop at a non-Tesla Supercharger and this adapter worked perfect. It seems to be very well built and it fit the charger and my Tesla Model Y just right. I charged at the max speed that the charger allowed. I had no connectivity issues. I would definitely recommend this item.

The adapter that came with the IONIC 5 was not compatible with the home charger Ford installed for our MACH E. This adapter will charge an IONC 5 on a Ford MACH E home charger.

I recently picked up a 2025 Kia EV6, with a NACS charging port. Most local fast chargers have CCS plugs, which don't fit. I picked up this adapter to allow charging at a local Electrify America charger. Using this plug, my car charged at a peak rate of about 125 KW. I was able to charge from 55% to 80% in about 15 minutes. While I'd love to see a faster charge rate, this will work well if I need to top up my charge on the way home. The adapter itself is sturdy and seems durable. I like that it comes with a zippered carrying case. This will help keep it clean and easy to store in my car.
