I’ve had this for almost a year and it works great year round Super easy to set up and works great. No loss of speed when charging. Only recommendation is if the connector had a housing so it would be better all year round.

Its heavy and stayed pretty flexible in the cold. Rated for 40 amps but I have the EV charger limited to 30 amps, and it doesn't get warm at all after several hours. Good solution for when the charger can't be mounted closer.

The bag is too small to easily roll up the cord into but this has made charging multiple EVs at home great. We don’t have to move the cars around to get the spot buy the charger. The dust caps are not needed because you can plug it into itself. It is also great for charging the truck we tow with while camping at RV sites.

This Extension Cable has been great and performs better than advertised. I use it continually without failure and it is easy to keep organized with the accompanying bag. The length was more than I really needed but for the cost vs the length of others, it was the best option.

The J1772 EV Extension Cable by SEGUMA, is a great way to add 40 extra feet to your charging cable to help you reach your car with quality and convenience. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – This, as well as everything I’ve gotten from SEGUMA is very nice quality with high value for the cost. They have had great durability, leading me to believe this one should last for a long time. II. Performance – It’s worked great so far with up to 40Amp’s of output, locking ends and caps for when not in use. The 40-foot length has been very helpful for charging my car when something is blocking the garage. It gives me more than enough extra length and works seamlessly like it’s not there. Overall, this has been a great solution for extending my EV charger when needed with quality, durability and performance. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.
