I used this to create a menu board for a friend's restaurant. We ran the output to a big 66" TV, then had the machine cycle through the two pages of the menu every 15 seconds. The manual was a little daunting (it kind of assumed I knew what I was doing) but with some trial and error I was able to get it up and running in a couple hours. The hardest part was the programming, but the interface pulled up on my Windows laptop (ACER) and again, with some trial and error I was able to get the TV to show his menu and cycle back and forth between them. Once you have the images loaded onto the drive and you have it set up the way you want, you don't need the laptop any more unless you want to change things. It just runs by itself, and has a battery backup so if you lose power you can reboot and have it going again in less than a minute (without the laptop). We tried that out by unplugging everything, waiting a few minutes, then plugging it all back in. You will have to turn on the TV again, and then the unit reboots and after about 15-20 seconds it's back and running again. If he wants to add a third page to the menu, that won't be very difficult, or if he needs to change prices or whatever, it will be easy to do. You create the images you want in a JPG, JPEG, or PNG (Or create an MP4 video that cycles through) and then set it to cycle through them. I do think this unit is kind of expensive, but if you hire a display company to do this for you it they will use this same unit and charge you twice as much or more. I think that makes it a good value, especially for a small business where every dollar counts.

Note: I have used this with a single display, not with a video wall controller. It's pretty difficult to determine what this thing does - on the one hand they say it can display up to 6 screens, and then they say you have to use a video wall controller. After sifting through the manual here's the low-down - you can upload just about any type of media to the internal hard drive (up to 32GB - which is REALLY small, btw), and then combine these different sources into a single 4K stream with each source in a specific configuration (2x2, 2x3, 4x4, etc.), which is then output via HDMI (including audio). THEN, if you want to display this on ma video wall, you have to purchase a video wall controller that will split the various sources into different TV screens. The box works well enough, but if you want to play extended videos, 32GB is not nearly enough storage. So that really limits you. But the storage and the confusing way they describe what the box can do makes me knock a star off.

The ISEEVY 4K smart player is a commercial-quality product that is ideal for storefronts and display cases or decorating with Flat Panels. The hardware has really impressive performance, and the unit boasts rock-solid stability through a full-fledged Linux OS kernel and adequate CPU and GPU power to output in 4K quality streams. There are also many different ways to configure the smart player output, making this a fantastic solution for very specialized video needs. The box is compact and can be mounted inconspicuously. I tested it over an Ethernet connection with the webserver to send a video test file. Museums and boutique retailers with name-brand designers might benefit from a smart player like this to immerse users in their advertising or media. Although the player only has 32GB ROM memory available to write to, the USB 3.0 ports support external hard drives, so you can connect many terabytes to the player if you have one. This is not a media server like a Plex system or Kodi server that streams videos for entertainment. With the impressive hardware and Linux OS, modern USB-3, and various video connectors, the ISEEVY is a good value for people needing this specialized device.

I love video wall displays and have several in my office building. This is a great tool for a number of reasons--it's very functional and can create video walls with all manner of configurations. It can support a variety of different file types but my favorite part is that you can do everything locally from your PC or remotely through a variety of methods in a web based interface. A very versatile and functional video wall management device. Highly recommended!

You can wake up to a sunset or go to sleep with starz. You can put images and videos in the program and it plays it 4k. Great for retailer stores or consumers who love technology.
