Update: within 48 hours the battery swelled up cracked the screen and the back it was making a hissing noise and was hot to the touch. Don't buy this phone So the phone itself works very well. Actually showed up in near perfect condition. however, the charging block that was sent with the phone is absolute garbage. It made the phone so glitchy that you can't use it. I had to go out and buy a new charger for it. I wish that the sellers would do a better job of trying to help their customers actually be able to use the phone. The brick they sent could have destroyed the phone. That being said. So far the phone is great. And I highly recommend this model. Just not this seller. ... show more

This was a replacement for the same model phone that - despite being water resistant - stopped recognizing my SD card after getting it wet while using the phone in heavy rain(!) The phone itself is just as described. It didn't come in the original box, but I didn't need that. It *did* come with a charger and some instructions as well as the little SIM card removal tool (I already had one, but thanks for including it). I won't go into what this model can & can't do, just to say that the refurb does everything my original new model did. This particular one was bought as "Refurbished - Excellent" and honestly there isn't a mark on it. It looks just like my original A71 did when I first opened it. The only reason for the 4 star rather than 5 is that the battery life is poor. My old phone would go up to 2 days on a single charge, but this refurb is less than half of that. Whereas constant use would take the original phone down from 100% to 95% in about an hour, now it's closer to 20 minutes to use that same amount of juice. I'm currently doing gig work and using my phone for that and find that after a few hours of work the battery has dropped down to around 35% from full where previously I was still up around 65% after the same period. I'd still recommend this, it's just a shame that you're at the mercy of whoever had the phone previously and how well they managed the battery since these aren't upgradeable. ... show more

I had this phone for 5 days. 3 days I did nothing with it. After I charged it each day the battery went down maybe 3 to 5%. The day I added everything to it it kept connecting to the charger. Then I started using it and it seemed like it was being recorded while I was on the phone. The speaker phone seemed to sound like it was under water. So the second day actually using it I came here to get a replacement. Mind you nothing was wrong with the charging of the battery. I plugged it up last night (right after ordering a replacement) and it charged fine. and I went to bed. I woke up to the phone bring almost dead. I unplugged and replaced. Nothing. I realized I needed to factory reset the phone to send it back. As all my personal information is now on the phone. So I tried to factor reset it. It was at 9%. So it wouldn't. Because it needed to be at 10%. The phone began to rapidly lose charged until it got to 3%. I realized the wifi and location was off. So I turned those off. At 3% I was able to remove all the things from the phone but couldn't find the trash to make sure. So I canceled the replacement and I'm charging the money I paid for this one as a NEVER AGAIN LOST! Because I WILL NOT send it back with the possibility of all my information being in the phone. I don't trust this. I feel like this was done on purpose to get information when we send them back. ... show more
