Works great! I have a high spray, long haired cat. I believe she high sprays because of how long her hair is, she tries to stay dry. It was constantly a mess in my bathroom no matter what we did. She would also trail feces out, I think again because of her hair and trying not to step in it. This was a great affordable option that was worked for the leaking problem!!! No more urine on the wall or the floors anywhere. We’ve been using it for about 2 months now and today was the first time I saw a few little drops between the top and the bottom-where they connect. Only just a few drops. It was overdue for a clean (my own fault) but for being overdue it still was only a few drops in the crease. I was worried when I initially purchased it would build up in between there. Nope. Great size for my single house cat. She’s about 10lbs if I had to guess, 1yo. Easy to open and latch back together, it’s never become dislodged accidentally. One star less only because the shape of it has the little ‘notches’ that are too wide for my scooper so it’s hard to reach the corners. Annoying. Otherwise very happy! ... show more

Every cat owner needs a top - loading litter box. It reduces odor, avoids having pebbles of litter all over the carpet, and is the perfect height & width for and a medium size house cat. Huge fan of this litter box. This will work well for anyone trying to fit a litter box into a smaller space. There is no urine leakage or problems with cleaning. My only reason for rating it 3 stars is because it’s actually all separate pieces which I didn’t realize when ordering. Theres a bottom tray, the side pieces, another part that goes over the bottom tray and side pieces (kind of like a top shell), and the top lid. When ordering, I thought it was just the bin and lid. It’s a bit annoying, but could work well for others depending on your needs. Just wanted to point it out as I didn’t know! Otherwise, a great purchase that I don’t regret for a moment. I personally like this better than the IRIS oval shape litter box but I don't use it with the plastic bag as it instructed. As everyone said, the plastic bag cannot stay flat underneath and will make scooping difficult + cat can easily make hole out of it. And after I removed the plastic bag and pour in cat litter directly into it, I found this design make it much easier for me to empty the litter box for a full clean up every few month. Since the bottom box is shorter in height and could be easily gripped for wash. Plus, this is in a more friendly size to my cat since it's bigger.
