This unit looks good for an air fryer (round ones are ugly). The see through window and and interior light are great features. Time and Temp are a breeze to set and it cooks fairly quietly. Egg rolls, chicken wings, pizza, works great for everything. We love roasting olive oil tossed & seasoned vegetables of all sorts, especially brussels sprout halves. We went with this air fryer after our Ninja one died after many years of use. We are so happy we did! My favorite features of this air fryer: 1. Clear view- you can see the food cooking so you don't have to loose heat by checking the food as it cooks. This clear view goes off, and you can touch a button to turn the light back on at anytime. 2. Preheating. It does this by default. Set your time and temp, let it preheat, then it pauses to allow you to put the food in. Once you re-insert the basket with food, it automatically starts cooking. It also has you turn/rotate your food about halfway through cook time. 3. I like that it's wider basket instead of taller one. Makes it easy to clean. I've used it for fish, chicken, pork chops, french fries, sweet potato fries, Brussels sprouts. It offers a large cooking tray with a convenient light to check on the progress of the food. Programming time and temperature selection are straightforward. Various selections such as roast, bake, and broil are also available. So far I've only used Air Fry and I'm very happy with it. The food comes out moist and juicy while at the same time fully cooked. Washing the cooking tray is simple, either in the sink or the dishwasher. Basic cooking times are provided in the booklet, but I prefer to check on-line for optimal cooking advice. Even then I'm compiling my own cooking time/temp record since air fryers have different power ratings. So far, no complaints. ... show more

I don't know how I ever did life before air fryers! We use them so much, this is our third! I thought I was going to hit the jackpot with this one based solely off the brand. While I do like it and don't feel "stuck with it", there are a few things I think they could improve upon. Things I like: 1. Time and Temp are easy to control/change, even mid cycle. 2. LOVE the window and light!! Being able to see in without having to stop, open and restart is great! (especially because of #3 on my list of things I wish were different) 3. Very easy to clean. 4. Clean, sleek design. Also love the square shape vs. traditional round fryers. Wastes less counter space. 5. Very quiet. Some might think the signal when the cook time has ended is too quiet. Things I wish were different: 1. Even though the square shape allows it to waste less counter space, it does have a rather large footprint. I wish it was just a little smaller without compromising cooking capacity. 2. I really wish it were stainless steel inside. Why, in 2024, are we still pumping ourselves full of forever chemicals with non-stick cookware?!? I've mitigated this (as much as possible) by purchasing stainless steel basket inserts. They fit and work great, but still would prefer not to cook my food in a non-stick oven. 3. I wish there were an option to skip the pre-heat function, mainly because once your pre-set cook time is up, and if your food is not fully cooked, you have to go through the pre-heat cycle all over again in order to continue cooking. Is it terribly long? No. Unnecessary? Very. Overall, it's a great air fryer so far. I've been using it regularly for 3 months now and haven't had any functional issues. ... show more

I managed to get this air fryer for $80 during the October Prime days. I was very impressed how quiet it is, how efficient it cooks, ease of use, timer pause when basket pulled to turn over food, and excellent results. It's now my go-to hamburger "grill". They come out better than any cooking method I've used (save for the barbecue, as nothing can top that, IMO). It's easy to adjust time on the fly. Having the small window on the basket makes it easy to follow the cooking process and make adjustments, if needed. The basket is also very easy to remove and reinsert. My prior air fryer was an adventure to insert the basket, most of the time requiring force to close it. I am sold on Instant products, as this is a top quality air fryer at a great price. I am so glad I bought it and recommend it highly. ... show more
