Have ordered other shade/privacy tarps before and none looks more like a shade tarp as unattractive as this one. Got the Gray 50ft which has a truly classy look and blends with our front house colors. While you can see through it a bit one way - it is less transparent when a little farther away and does give you added privacy between neighbors, and keeps them from blowing their debris/leaves on my side Gives plenty of grommets to anchor and zip ties to the tarp. It has been windy on some days and this lets the wind through so there is little tension for it to come off. My only problem with it is the plastic look of the weave but that's just me I feel most people wouldn't mind it. So 4 stars for me!

I got this privacy screen in green. Looks just like the pictures. This is not total privacy, it does have sheerness to it. I can still see objects through the screen. I would like complete privacy, defeats the purpose if its not. It does come with zip ties. There were a few grommets that are smashed, they still work but should have been packed better.

My mother-in-law lives in a tiny home in our backyard. She wasn't able to get her septic connected to ours, so instead she has a holding tank that gets emptied regularly. Her house in on the corner of our property in our fence and her holding tank is behind her house...basically right up against the neighbor's property. I felt so bad that our neighbors had to look at an ugly holding tank and wanted to figure out a way to hide it. This cloth was long enough to cover the whole far end of her house AND the entire back of her house! I can't see through it AT ALL and it provides the coverage we needed. It's just a little tricky to install because I'm picky and wanted it to fit nice and tight. It feels pretty durable, but I don't expect it to last 5 years or anything. This privacy cloth is super affordable, and I'd definitely purchase again when this one needs replacing. I do have to be very mindful of weed whacking around there though. Great product!

This is a nice privacy fence. Our fence has a large hole in it from a hurricane ripping up a tree last year and the owner hasn't fixed it yet so I got this to "patch" it up and keep my dog from getting out and it's working well for that. Easy to install, it just uses zipties to attach to the fence, and they're included. You can do this on your own but it's easier with a second person, it took us like ten minutes tops.

I have three dogs. The neighbor behind me has two dogs. Four out of the five are barkers. And then there is me, one unhappy frustrated dog mama because my dogs are out, their dog inside the house barks, and they let theirs out. I take mine back inside to stop mine from barking. Frustrating cycle...until I put this visual barrier on my fence. Right now, it it secured to the fence using bungees cords and some carbiners. I didn't want to take the effort to make it look all pretty if it wasn't going to work. But so far (it's been three days) it is keeping the neighborhood quieter. The privacy screen is 50' long X 4'. I raised it up from the ground so I could still use my weedeater without destroying the screen. There are grommets placed about every 18" (I didn't measure). The material itself actually has a bit of stretch to it which was a secondary reason for using temporary items to hold it to the fence. Since I am hanging and stretching the fabric by myself, I figured it would eventually need to be tightened and readjusted. Back to the dogs barking, I have been working with the two of mine that are new adoptees to sit and stay instead of charging out the back door. I am also holding on to their leashes after I tell them "OK" in order to control the excitement level. I am also convinced that the privacy screen has made a difference. If the neighbor's dogs don't hear or see that mine are outside, they won't bark to be let out. This product has been very helpful to block the dogs' visual incentive to bark.

Above in my pictures you can see that the 4ft x 50ft Black Privacy Shade Screen only covers half the fence. We chose to cover the bottom instead of the top for dog reasons. Our dog goes out to that fence and taunts the neighbor's dog. So now the neighbor's dog has it's privacy. I am reviewing this shade and it has 90% visibilty blockage and when your entire fence is covered you feel like you are in your own world. The reason the height of mine is 4 ft. In height is because I am doing a review of the heavy duty privacy shade and that was the size offered to try. Yes I wish it went all the way up because it transforms our yard, it covers unsightly broken fences, it is also a windscreen and holds it's own when there is a storm. It comes with zip ties for use on a chain link fence but ours is wood so my son came up with a way to fasten it to the fence going through the grommets. This material has some stretch to it so it's possible to have a straight taut fence covering. As for privacy I no longer have to worry about those 2 dogs and when I can I will get some more of this materital to cover the entire fence. I had never seen material like this and everything about it has been positive.

This is the same material as the shade sails, and it's definitely tough, and then some. Putting this up to hopefully stop (or at least reduce) the fence-fighting/arguing between my dogs and the neighbor's. They will certainly still be able to smell and hear one another, but maybe out-of-sight will do - we'll see. If nothing else, it will certainly be some shade for part of the day along that fence-line. The other option the blind affords is my hounds won't be able to see the (other) neighbor's sheep which they like to try and harass. Another item with off-label potential also. Using the 50 ft. option, one could set 4 posts 12 ft. apart (and a center-post), making a 12x12 square, then wrap this around for walls; on the 12 ft option, another four 12' triangle solar sails would make a roof - a "gazebo" of a sort, or something like a tent or "yurt". Obviously, this concept could be rendered in about any shape, a circle wouldn't be difficult either.
