I’ve had this robot vacuum for a few months now, and I’m very impressed. I previously owned a Roomba and another brand, and this one is by far the best. I don’t even use the app, yet it knows exactly where to clean and has mapped my house perfectly. When it finishes, it automatically returns to the base to charge. I’ve only had to change the dust bag once, and it still had plenty of space. It’s easy to use, cleans very well, and has been very reliable. I haven’t tried the mopping feature yet, so I can’t comment on that part, but overall I highly recommend this product!

As someone who values a clean home but doesn’t always have the time for daily upkeep, I was excited to try out the ILIFE A12 Pro Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo—and so far, after two uses, I’m impressed. Setup Experience: Initial setup was slightly confusing. The power button functions differently depending on whether you hold it for 3 seconds or 5 seconds, and that wasn’t clearly explained in the manual. It took a bit of trial and error to get it started properly. Also, finding the “sweep only” mode in the app took some digging, as the docking station doesn’t have an interface and the remote control uses icons only, with no labeled buttons—which may be a challenge for first-time users. Cleaning Performance: Once up and running, the A12 Pro really shines. I have vinyl floors with a few area rugs, and it transitioned across surfaces seamlessly. No water spots, no residue—just a solid clean. I can’t speak for how it handles really messy jobs, as I maintain a pretty tidy space, but for daily upkeep and dust, it’s performing great. Noise Level: One thing to note: the self-emptying feature is powerful—but loud. If you place the dock near a bedroom or living room, it might be disruptive. My workaround? Run the vacuum while you’re out or schedule it during your deepest sleep window. You could also set the dock up farther from your sleeping or TV space. Pro Tips from Experience: •Put barstools on the counter and remove loose or lightweight items from the floor to prevent the vacuum from getting stuck. •Skip rugs with fringe—those decorative edges can cause the vacuum to struggle or stop. I was initially very impressed with this robot vacuum. We have 2 dogs (one of which is a golden , IYKYK) and the amount of pet hair can be overwhelming. In the beginning the vacuum did a great job getting all the dog hair, and while it usually had to return to the charging station mid-cleaning, it would start again once it had recharged. Unfortunately after only several months it stopped charging. The app informed me I needed to clean/replace the “consumables” (meaning the brushes and filters) so I did that by watching the video instructions provided in the app. The vacuum still wouldn’t charge, so I contacted support who sent me a new battery and instructions on how to replace it. I did, but to no avail. Support then directed me to send them a video of the robot not charging because they said when they pulled the data it showed it’s at 100%. It’s dead, and the app shows it’s offline as a result, so I don’t know where they’re getting this data. Even so, I sent them the requested video and they told me I needed to clean the vacuum to ensure nothing was blocking the sensor (I’d done this early on when I first noticed a problem). They told me to send them a video of the robot cleaning, and that the video needed to be sent with an Android phone. I don’t have an android phone, and as I’d already told them multiple times, the robot isn’t cleaning. It’s not moving at all. This has now gone on for several months, and I’m beyond frustrated. Given the price, I would have expected this vacuum to have lasted longer than a few months. I have asked the company to send me a replacement but so far I just keep getting instructions that have nothing to do with the actual problem. I’m going to have to purchase a new robot vacuum and it will not be iLife.

Desde que llego mi ILIFE A12 PRO Estaba muy emocionado por ser mi primer Robot limpiador inteligente, al principio la configuración puede ser un poco confusa a pesar de tener instrucciones, haciendo el mapeo de inicio no lo hacía bien, tuve que poner a que hiciera el mapeo otra 2 veces hasta que lo hizo bien el 3ro, Luego de programarlo y aprender a usar la app lo programe para que limpiara sin yo tener que ordenarlo diario y lo hacia perfecto, estaba todo bien hasta que de un momento a otro su base dejo de Succionar el polvo del robot, es ahí donde solo parpadeaba el bombillo naranja pero no hacia el fuerte sonido de succión, pensé que era algo pasajero pero desconecte la base, apague todo hasta lo reinicie hasta que seguía haciendo lo mismo, con solo un mes de haberlo adquirido, luego el robot comenzó a dar vueltas en círculos un poco errático y dije ya perdí mi dinero en esto. Es ahí donde entra la mejor parte le escribí al Soporte técnico de ILife por correo y me dieron pronta explicación y solución, Me dijeron que al parecer la base del robot vino con problemas de fabrica y me enviaron otra base totalmente gratis, a pesar que al inicio me habían dicho que me iban a mandar solo la turbina para que yo se la cambiará, y para lo de que el robot estaba errático me dijeron que le quitara la mopa, Lo hice y comenzó a funcionar bien, al final me recomendaron cambiar la mopa y asegurarme de que la mopa esté bien colocada y recta completamente ya que si se atasca un poco con el suelo los sensores del robot pueden fallar y provocar que el robot de ponga errático. Finalmente compre otras mopas, ya que las que tenia la lavaba muy fuerte con cepillo de pared, pienso que por eso se me dañaron y tengo mi base nueva acabado de llegar. Le doy gracias al equipo de I Life ya que soy de República Dominicana y la devolución a Amazon se me hacía casi imposible, pero al ellos resolver todo quedo perfecto. Por esta razón a pesar de la mala experiencia al principio le sigo dando las 5 estrellas.

Preface- I have an 800 sqft apartment, 248 of which is open to this robot. I have two big dogs 55-65 lbs, one is short hair and one is long, and two shorthair cats. And I haven’t swept in three days to really put it to the test, so bear that in mind. Pros: -It’s quiet, even on the highest “super” setting. -It’s up and running in twenty minutes, ready to go from plugging it in to downloading and signing up on the app- even has a bag installed out the box. -Good suction on the “strong” and “super” settings. -Mapping is quick and painless, took about ten minutes to finish mapping. And it is bumpless, won’t even tap the furniture. -The number of passes in one area can be doubled, and the cleaning efficiency on the whole can be adjusted to maximize the overlap of each pass. -For the 248 sqft that this robot is responsible for, it took 24 minutes and it stopped near the end bc of low battery- this is in the pros bc it was out of the box at 41%, and completed mapping, then 93% of the map before returning itself to dock and charge at 11%. -There are three customizable options for “cleaning plans”: “Ordinary”, “Plan 1, and “Plan 2. 4 suction settings and 3 water settings for the mop. For plans 1 and 2, you can customize suction, water, and number of passes by zone, which is a nice touch. For example, my ordinary setting is on the highest “super” setting with the mop option closed. Plan 1 is “strong” suction with mop closed and an extra pass in the living area, and plan 2 is “strong” suction with medium water mopping. Pretty cool. -It’s cute and small, low profile and footprint. Cons: -Will keep running when the robot’s bin is full, no option to dock and clear the robot’s bin then pick up cleaning where it left off like other brands. This means it will drag hair and debris over non-smooth mats and rugs and leave clumps. And there doesn’t even seem to be an option to manually return to dock without starting the cleaning map all over again. -Would definitely prefer a bagless system but they’ll price hike for that. -The fan on the side will blow hair across the floor, which can cause it to miss doggy tumbleweeds. -If you have cats like mine they will follow it around and sometimes get in the way, and the robot will pick them up and try to move around them. This should resolve itself when the “newness” fades lol -Only one run can be scheduled at a time, so if you want to run it daily multiple times you’ll have to do the second run manually. Mind you, it is only 248 sqft. But I have not used the mop setting (I literally just opened it an hour ago), and this is with three days of dirt, four animals, and one longhair girlfriend. I’d say all in all for the $140 price tag this little robot will be a big help to me keeping this house under control.

I've only been using it for 5 days, so I can't speak to how it will operate in the future! But what I CAN say is I freaking love it so far! I don't normally leave reviews, but this vacuum really has impressed me. Speaking candidly, I think a lot of the reviews of this product are AI generated, so they kind of made me skeptical to buy it. But, my dog pooped on my floor and RUINED my last robot vacuum, and I desperately need a robot vacuum to do my daily maintenance throughout the week. I do the deep clean with the traditional vacuum every Saturday. All that being said, I love all of the settings in the app. I love that it maps out the entire house, and I have the ability to name each of the rooms for the "room clean" function (where you designate the device to only clean certain rooms). With the mapping, it tries to establish a room by room structure. However, in the process of doing so, it mapped out that my bathroom and hallway were actually one room. This is an issue because the hallway is carpet and the bathroom is tile. This could interfere with the mopping function. BUT THEY SOLVED THAT TOO. You can manually separate rooms and merge rooms on the map to create a very accurate map of the layout of your home. I LOVED that. The vacuum is very thorough and very effective. The self emptying function is great. What I also like is that you can select how thorough and how powerful you want the vacuum to be. You can even select how many times you want the device to vacuum a room. I had company this weekend, so lots of people were in and out. I had the device vacuum the most trafficked areas 3-4 times. This has been my favorite robot vacuum so far. I would love a little help with sorting out the "scene" feature because I don't quite understand that, but aside from that, this vacuum has been AMAZING. Would 100/10 recommend. If anything starts going amuck, I'll update my review to reflect that :)

It sucks stuff up. Certainly not everything. You have to put it on the charger yourself or it will die before it finds it on its own. It usually has no idea where it is. The controls on the app don't work at all. It gets clogged with the smallest of things so you have to clean it out all the time and the self emptying thing is kind of useless. You have to set the thing in the room you want to clean and then select it in the app and turn it on otherwise it will clean other rooms not the selected one.
