I bought this to give another shaded area in my yard for my outdoor formerly feral cats. My covered patio gets hot in the warmest months because it is metal. The plan was to attach it to my garage and my shed on one side and then 2 poles on the other. It was too heavy for my plastic shed. The poles made for these shades are more expensive than I wanted and couldn’t just be pushed into the ground. They have to be placed in dug holes with cement. My dad had some fence posts that we used instead. We just pounded them into the ground and I reinforced them by using zip ties on the fence. So the shade is lower to the ground, but it’s fine since it’s for the cats and not humans. It provides great shade for them. I loved the price of this and the choice of colors.

We got this to cover our patio. It was a bit of a pain to put up since the attachment points on the house are 10 feet up but a latter and an installation kit had this up in no time. It is very sturdy. We've had some decent rain storms this spring and summer and this sail has made it through them with no issues. We even had a storm that got so windy, it started pulling the concreted-in post to the side. The concrete gave way but the shade sail is still going strong. It will strech a bit so plan on tightening it up a month or so after you put it up - especially if you have a storm that will accelerate that stretching. Overall, a very good sail with no downside. The price was right on point to. I definitely recommend.

The quality is really good but it was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. The nylon strings included were nice but it's the type that is super slick and doesn't hold knots well. There is no other hardware included, but I feel it is good value for the price as I did a lot of comparison. I am using it for shade in the yard for my dogs and surprisingly they seem to appreciate it.

It was the exact color and look of the new, smaller version I bought a few years ago. I was looking for the larger size to cover more of my patio area. Even though the price was quite affordable, the fabric is firm and light-proof. I like the fact that there are triangular and square shapes to choose from, depending on the situation. So far it is my favorite.

It seems that majority if not all the new sails are made of the same holey see through material, no matter GSM number and make almost no shade. Does this sail make a very dark shade? No. It makes exactly the same degree of shade as my old sails, and it is still not as good of a shade as water resistant sails make. Out of the 4 sails I tried, this one is the only one where I had a problem with sides not being at tension. They curve down. For a $25 16' triangle shade that actually makes some shade, I will accept this flaw and live with it.
