So far great! Bought three sales 2 weeks ago, they do the trick! Installation was somewhat easy. Make sure to buy the hardware kit, $19 a set, but cheaper than putting your own together from the local store, wonāt save you much. You have to make sure to put the right amount of tension on the sail, so measure well. The gap due to the curve may be greater than you wish, but hard to avoid to ensure they donāt rip. No rain yet, so I canāt say much about permeability at this point. Ah, make sure to leave enough room to tighten the sale over time and allow for stretching. The chemical odor out of the package is strong, so open package outside. Enjoy otherwise.

Well I should have opened it when it arrived! We built a 8 x 12 arbor and ordered the 8 x 12 to go on top when the weather turned hot. Well its hot and so we opened the cover to install it. Shocking! it didn't gat even close! I went back to make sure that it was and 8 x 12 on the package. Well that is what it says, but it is more like a 6 x 8 which isn't even one of the options on the package. My return time has expired, and that is on me, but this is deceitful labeling and marketing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This worked way better than I thought it would. It's stayed up during storms in Louisiana with no issues. I upgraded the hardware and was able to install everything myself. Water comes through so there's no pooling. Extremely satisfied!

This would be my 2nd shade. The first one I had was a different manufacturer. For that one my posts were set larger than 12x16 and I used turnbuckles to tighten it as it stretched and this worked out well until a tree branch crashed through it during a storm. Thus one should be the same, but it Is not. I will have to reset my posts now because I cannot get it tight enough and it says too low for the application. Bigger than what is said, and not useful to me now.

I expected the material to look like sail canvas or pool umbrella type fabric...it looks like woven plastic hangs poorly and unshapely..it's up now so Ill' leave it because fortunately it was used way in back of our house in a side storage area and no one will see this un shapely...(you know how beautiful sails can look..this is not even in the same league) and for the price (31.99) you can get a much better looking and performing sail. Also, where the fabric had been folded at factory when unfolded to install has small HOLES right at the curve of the fold.....separation of the fabric

Do not waste your money. This so called āSun Shadeā does not give any shade. It has several tiny holes in it. The sun shines right through them. Itās full of holes like a strainer. I guess Iāll keep it to wrap something up. Very disappointed. My first bad review in a very long time.

Pros: Quality build. Comes with strings. Cons: No hooks. We have this mini golf turf in our backyard we wanted to have shaded so I bought this triangle shade. It comes with three white strings for you tie down. Iād say itās about 3ft long and I suggest you look up how to tie knots - this will help with loosening it up too. The ring to tie the string is reinforced to avoid any ripping. The material used feels good and high quality but only time will tell of it can survive the hot sun and later in the rain. I suggest you size your shade correctly and not go ābigā and hope that securing it will make it work. The area that I want to use it for could use a smaller shade but I defiantly have other spots for this larger one. Overall, covers what we need so that the kids can play in the shade some.
