This shade helped keep the summer heat off our house this year. I just took it down as Fall's cooler temps creep in, and I need the extra sunlight to keep the house warm, and was happily surprised to find it still in excellent condition - the summer sun didn't make it brittle or frayed. I did notice that it stretched a bit after installation - enough that I was unable to keep it taught along the long side... so do yourself a favor and leave some room to stretch it when you put in installation points!

Let me start by saying with the cost of building supplies the past 2 years we haven't been able to build a roof over our deck like we wanted. We ended up ordering one of these sun shades as a quick fix. It does the job! We have no trees in our yard so it's hard to find an area to cool down and this looks great. It's not completely waterproof but it works decently when it rained the other day what came through the sun shade was a fine mist. I would buy it again.

Would highly recommend getting a different way of securing this for whatever you are using this for. The rope that comes with it is not very durable and won't last at all. This product is good for shade and doesn't move much when windy. So not a bad buy.

Our last shade sail kept detaching and even began to rip whenever it rained too much or was too windy. This one holds up perfectly, even in the worst weather. Only issue is the rain comes right through. Wish it would hold it a bit but that's a minor issue.
