  • 4.9 out of five stars that is a game changing addition to your tractor
After reading many reviews, I finally went ahead and pulled the trigger on this hydraulic top link and like most say, my biggest regret was waiting so long. I am using this on a Kubota 2601 and aside from the ability to provide more adjustments on implements such as a box blade/land plane/etc., I have also found that it makes hitching up implements with a Quick Hitch MUCH easier. I know that everything is supposed to be QH compatible, but the ability to move the top link in and out makes hitching and un-hitching MUCH easier. A few additional thoughts/observations outside of the many other reviews: I DID have to modify the end that attached to the tractor by cutting off a little more than 1/4 inch of the ball end on the tractor side. This is discussed quite a bit in other reviews. Not a major issue and a cut off wheel made quick work of the modification. What I did not see mentioned in other reviews was that on the ram end (the end that attaches to the implement), I had to drill out the ball end with a 3/4" drill bit to make a CAT 1 top link pin fit. A drill press and helper made this much easier. Finally, while it does come with hydraulic hoses and ends, I had to have a second (smaller) set made to fit my specific tractor. Not a big deal, just something to think about/consider. Overall, I would highly recommend this product and while your rating options only allow a 4 or a 5, I say 4.9 given that slight modifications may be required to fit your specific application. Would buy again in a heart beat. ... show more

  • HOWTO: convert away from banjo fittings HOWTO: convert away from banjo fittings
I've had this about a year and a half and I've been very pleased with it. It fits my New Holland Boomer 30 very well. In the last few months I've added a couple diverter vales on the back of the tractor for more hydraulic toys. Its getting a bit cramped back there now. When trying different orientations to see how the top link fan fit around the diverters one of the hoses got pinched. So it blew pretty quickly after that. They use these banjo fittings because its the lowest profile way to get an elbo on the end of the hose. And it can be loosened, rotated, and retightend with low risk of leaking. But they're not as popular here in the US, especially if you want to get the pre-made (read: cheap!) hoses. I could go to local parts house and have them make me a hose, but that one hose will cost about half what this whole kit cost. I can buy 6-8 hoses online for what it'd cost to get one local. So I decided to convert it away from banjo fittings. Here is the critical infomation you need to know: The threads on the hollow bolt that holds the banjo on are the standard BSPP threads for 3/8" hydraulic fittings (BSPP is not compatable with NPT). So to put an eblo on it to swap over to 3/8" JIC you just need: JIC 6 Male x 3/8" BSPP Male 90 Degree Elbow 3801-06-06 Adapter ITEM NUMBER: 9-3801-6-6 But you can only do that for one hose. The ports are too close together to put two of those elbos on it. If you try, the second elbo will hit the first when you try to screw it in. So I also ordered a 3/8 JIC x 3/8 JIC (male x male) connector. I cut one end of the fitting off, cut the banjo off my busted hose, and brazed them together. DIYing my own 3/8 bajo x 3/8 JIC fitting. Alternatively, you can loosen the nuts on the pilot valve, rotate it 90 degrees, then put a pair of straight BSPPxJIC fittings. To do that, you'd need a pair of JIC 6 Male x 3/8" BSPP Male Straight 3800-06-06 Adapter Item Number: 9-3800-6-6 ... show more

  • Fit right on my New Holland Boomer 40
This came from Holland and I got it in Idaho in just four days... incredible! Ordered a box of whole house filters 3 weeks ago and they still aren't here yet??? Both shipped FedEx. Anyway... This hydraulic top link is fantastic. Makes attaching my implements much easier as well as being able to control the tilt of my implements from the driver's seat. Just make sure the fittings on the hoses are tight, mine weren't and I leaked hydro fluid in a small puddle. After getting it attached and activating it a few times to fill the cylinder with fluid, (and spilling some on the ground due to not checking the tightness of the fittings) I checked the level of my hydraulic fluid in the tractor and no additional fluid was needed. Sweet! The 18 1/8" - 26 3/8" was the perfect length. I almost went with the one size longer but glad I didn't because my tiller sits perfectly level when it is tilling and the top link is set to the shortest setting (18 1/8"). This is one of those attachments that is not necessary but certainly nice to have. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Seems to be good quality. Works correctly.
It arrived in very good condition. It installed as it was supposed to and is working just as expected. No problems at all. I have it installed as top link on three point hitch on a Kioti CK3520. It connected to the rear hydraulics easily. I'm happy. Pay attention to what it may hit when you raise the three point hitch to its highest point. And what the hoses may get hung on. ... show more

  • We All Need This
I installed on a Kioti CK4010. I installed the rear remotes after a concrete mixer purchase and had intended to do the hydraulic top link then. Actually, when I bought the tractor, 8 years ago, I intended to do this. I am a glutton for punishment sometimes. Spare Parts of Holland was actually the second brand I ordered. I had ordered another brand and then became aware of SPofH. Rather than cancel, I was going to suck it up and stick with the original. Thankfully, Amazon sent me a message, the day before the original brand was supposed to be delivered, saying shipping had been delayed and it wouldn't arrive for another week. That gave me the out I needed to cancel that and order SPofH. I ordered on a Monday and received this toplink on Thursday. I could've had it Wednesday, but FedEx. I mention the time frame because this thing shipped from the Netherlands. I was very impressed. As far as the toplink goes, it could not have been any better or easier to install. Everything about it is high quality. There weren't any instructions. If you are unsure about these things, there are plenty of videos out there to show you how. Everything you need, except remotes is included. The cylinder, hoses, and all of the fittings are there. Remember there are 2 crush washers on the banjo fittings. One washer on the bolt, then the bolt into the fitting, then another washer on the other side. Everything was installed in 15 minutes and snugged down with no leaks. The video I saw that introduced me to Spare Parts of Holland, the man was installing on a tractor similar to mine. He rotated the block 90 deg to clear his fuel tank at full height and tilt. I will probably have to do the same. Other than that, I did not have to grind the eye at the tractor end of the cylinder, as I have seen others have to do so maybe that has been remedied. Also, I have seen reports of folks being billed duty fees by FedEx. I didn't have that experience, either. When you consider this item was shipped from the Netherlands to North Carolina, in, really, 3 days, duties paid, I believe that this was a screaming good deal and am pleased with the quality. I did cycle the cylinder and it took 2 or 3 times to get the air bled out. It runs smoothly and does exactly what we would expect a hydraulic toplink to do. Oh, the handle is for hanging the toplink on the hook you would normally stow your antique, analog, manual toplink on when you don't have an implement attached. Don't be quick to rip it off. It might come in handy. You deserve this. Enjoy. ... show more

  • kioti 40 hp
I had to file the top part a very minor bit to get it to fit. Was totally expected and desired to make sure its a good fit. A grinding wheel works great here. I mounted it upside to to avoid any change of the hydraulics hitting the fuel tank. This is a great addition for the tractor. It works great for angling the brush cutter and such on minor embankments. Also fantastic for box blade and back blade. AND it makes attaching items even faster/easier. ... show more

  • Trust me. . . there's nothing not to like about this.
Coming from the Netherlands, it was unbelievable how quickly this little beauty arrived. . . like within a week. Yes there were some scratches in the paint due to poor packaging, but the cylinder itself was fine. Who cares about a few scratches when it's going to get that way anyhow, riding on the back of your tractor. No big deal. If you really wanted to, you could hit it with a rattle-can and make it brand new. . . for awhile. Also, like others, I did have to hit the rod-end with a few strokes of a file to get it to fit the tractor. Also no biggie. The cylinder came with everything I needed to install it, and the hydraulic fittings worked with my Kioti CX-2510 without any modification whatsoever. I had it up and running in no time. This top-link appears to be a solid, well built unit, that I expect will last the life of the tractor. If you're running a box blade with a fixed top link, this thing will change your life. ... show more
