Straight up this is a great fan. This the second Hunter brand fan I have purchased and installed and other than a little issue with the motor housing (which was quickly returned and replaced) this fan was both easy to install and works/looks great. I'm not a great handy-man type and so I appreciate the easy directions and the fact that they make it about as simple as they can for people like me. Did I try to wing it a couple of times resulting in having to disassemble part of it so I could follow the correct steps? Yes, but once I went by the directions it really was simple. There are a couple issues worth mentioning on the installation: 1 - The mount was larger then my previous fans mount, not sure if it is or was the standard size, but that meant having to find and drill into a support beam. The wood screws are included with the fan, but are very long and easy to strip the screwhead before its in all the way. 2 - The install guide doesnt mention or include anything about the mess of wires and circuit boxes behind the light plate. It is a VERY tight fit and you really need to pack in and line up everything perfectly to get in on tightly. Other than that, its a solid fan. My only minor complaint is that the fan speed options could use tweaking. - Low might as well be off. Really doesnt do much of anything. - Mid is alright, very light breeze, but totally silent. - High feels great with a good air flow. The fan seems like its still very near silent, with the only sound coming from a now audible air "swoosh" Mid and low speed just need to be boosted a bit, imo. ... show more

It did have to be assembled but we had a electrician friend come and put it together and install it for us. It works perfectly and we love the look of it. This brand is becoming super popular and I’m glad I bought it. It makes the room look nice and gives off a nice air flow. In the video, the fan noise you are hearing is a floor fan, we use it for white noise. You can’t even hear the ceiling fan when it’s on, it is so quiet! ... show more

Fan is silent, Hunter quality. The pull chains are easy to pull as not being threaded through the globe. My only gripe is that the mid. speed is a bit slower than I'd like.

I ordered this fan in January of 2023. I like the fan it's nice for the price. I wanted another one for another room, since I was familiar with this fan and the way it looks and runs I searched my orders clicked on the fan and hit buy again. My issue is when they sent the second fan, it was missing three bags of screws to attach the blades, when I contacted the manufacturer they needed a receipt when I printed the receipt the condition of the fan was ":like new in original box". While I was ordering this fan it was not stated anywhere that it was a like new fan until I printed the receipt to email to the manufacturer who I hope will provide my screws at no charge. How can you click on a product that you previously purchased and the condition was new (I checked) and end up with one that is "like new". Be careful of the buy it again button. ... show more
