This is for a 2017 V6 Impala - it looks slightly different than the compressor I took out, but it fits the same and functions the same. Took me about 3 hours to R/R - you have to pull the inner fender well cover out, then remove the fuel pump cover and fuel pump bracket/assembly before you can get a breaker bar on the belt tensioner and reach the two side bolts. The top "bolt" is actually a stud and you'll need a e-torx (external torx) socket to remove it; the compressor cannot move far enough out to clear the stud so you'll have to remove it first. The bottom bolt you get from the underside. One bolt for the hoses and two electrical connectors. For mine, it came out easier from the bottom than the side (though your application may vary.) After you've swapped this one in, vacuum the system down and drop in the required amount of refrigerant (2 cans in my instance.) Went through the torture test of 103 degree Texas heat in slow traffic and still kept us plenty cool! NOTE: It DOES come pre-filled with oil so you do NOT need to add any oil to it. (At least, it says so on the box.) ... show more

After putting in the year, make, model and vin#, I got screwed. What they sent was not for my car. So I was very very disappointed.
