Works like it should
Pros: prints great, prints both sides, quiet, price not so bad. Cons: PC programs seem overly tied to printer when making changes to a file. I don't get why but will eventually. Only reason I replaced the last HP laserjet printer is they somehow stopped it from working due to age (5 years????) I expect. Last one was just as awesome as this one.....

The Worst HP Printer I’ve Ever Owned
I honestly have to say this is the worst HP printer I’ve ever purchased. I’m very comfortable with computers, software, installations, and troubleshooting, but getting this HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3105sdw up and running was incredibly frustrating. I was installing it on a brand-new HP computer and spent hours trying to get the printer connected through USB. I went through troubleshooting after troubleshooting and still couldn’t get it working properly. Eventually, I gave up on the USB connection and switched to wireless, which was the only way I could get it set up. The printer also has some very poor design choices. There is no separate envelope feed slot. If I need to print just one envelope, I have to remove all the paper from the tray, put the envelope in, print it, and then reload the paper. That is ridiculous. Why would HP design a printer this way? Then there’s the toner situation. The printer has technology that detects the toner cartridges, and it appears that only genuine HP OEM cartridges will work. At roughly $153 per cartridge, that gets very expensive very quickly. Even aftermarket cartridges that have the proper chips reportedly won't work. For a printer that is marketed as being easy to set up and convenient to use, my experience has been the exact opposite. The setup was a headache, the envelope handling is inconvenient, and the toner restrictions make ownership expensive. This is a definite thumbs-down from me. I would not recommend this printer and honestly regret buying it.

BEWARE! Introductory toner cartridge ran out after about 20 pages... I know there may be moral integrity concerns over the restrictivity and price of new cartridges, but for a brand new unit to effectively come with no useable toner when advertised to yield 1000 out of the box is objectably deplorable. Nonetheless, printer seems to work great and was easy to set up. UPDATE: Rating updated to reflect the remedy found through Amazon and HP

The print is exceptional.
I always wanted a laser printer. The price was right. The WIFI wouldn't work with my older Mac desktop. I purchased a USB cable and deleted all other printers. It now works perfectly. I love it.

Works, when installed
It's a good printer, once setup. I have an android phone that it says it supports. I connected the printer via Ethernet and pressed through the touch screen prompts. Downloaded the HP app, nothing shows up. Downloaded the HP printer plugin app, also not found even by ip. Tried switching to wifi, same thing. The wifi is weird on here, I have an Xfinity x1 router but it won't accept the wpa password only the easy join button but it looses that connection if it reboots. During troubleshooting I found HP cloud menu option but while clicking it and enabling the feature the printer rebooted and kernel panics. It rebooted again so I turned off wifi and went back to Ethernet. Eventually learned it has a web admin interface. Used that and the printer pin to login, enabled cloud printing there which worked, joined the printer online to the HP app, logged out and into the android app and now printing works. Oddly nothing in the app says these steps... Printing on Mac required manually entering the printer up then it worked fine, didn't auto show up. So not super easy and intuitive to setup
