This printer was extremely easy to set up and it prints quickly and beautifully. The only drawback that I have with it is that it shuts completely off overnight and I have to remember to turn it back on in the mornings. Print is very clear and good quality. It is also very quiet compared to other printers that I have had in the past. ... show more

    • Easy setup on Mac OS even works on OS versions older than compatibity listing
Works well, however for nonstandard material like card stock, you need to make setting changes via the tiny menu screen with very difficult navigation... My 32 year old HP laserjet didn't care what was loaded, it just took it without complaining! If the software of your Mac is earlier than "compatible", it will still work fine except that certain features are not available like draft quality and possibly duplex if you have that version printer. Use good quality paper. The cheapest paper might crease and present issues. The tiny display has a blinking icon that is not the paper level, but rather the toner level. I guess it blinks because this aspect is HP's future revenue stream! It comes with a starter cartridge that will run out quickly. Advertising is deceptive regarding exactly what cartridge version is included. ... show more

    • Faulty HP Model. This is what a couple techs said but will not return. NO SUPPORT
DO NOT BUY Worst printer. I bought to replace a great HP previous model that i never had a problem with. It died due to old age. So now, I have nothing but problems and can not use it. Call HP Support they say? Yea....Good luck with that. Language barrier to the upmost. Must have talked to 5 different people. All contradicted what the last one said. Good job HP. You lost a large corporation that has all HP devices. I will now be looking elsewhere. ... show more
