  • Very strong suction, almost perfect 4.5 STARS
I couldn't leave 4.5 stars so I had to put in 5. I didn't want to downgrade the star system to 4 so I put 5 to help the seller out because they only have 19 reviews as of 6/7/24. I paid $129.99. When I was searching for vacuums I was mainly looking at the wattage of the motor first. Then the Kpa's(suction power). Truly, with most gizmo's the motor is the central operating unit and usually where most of the money is spent(and battery) in the design. Start with the motor and battery then build out. The strength of the motor will also tell you about how strong the suction power will be. The only way to have weaker suction at the head would be bad design around the roller and such but this one has a great roller. So, I had 3 vacuums on my list that had 450 - 500 watts of power. And another 5 that I liked because they were high sellers with weaker motors but had reviews over 4.3 stars. So I had to decide between what the people liked and what I thought I would like because of specs. And like I said, this vacuum didn't have a lot of reviews yet but one in particular stood out and that's why I chose this one. And that's where I'll start, with suction power. This thing is strong. At full power(3 out of 3) this thing looked like I had emptied a beach into my garbage can. I used full power strictly for doing the 3 rugs in my apartment(1000 sq ft). The one at the front door getting most of the dirt because we take our shoes off by the front door. The vacuum could lift the corners of the rug off the ground pretty easily on full power, pretty impressive for a cordless vacuum. My old one could not do this nor would it vacuum rugs at all really. You could feel how the vacuum was harder to use on the rug because of the suction power. I used low power in the rest of the space since I have hardwood. Never an issue picking up anything. My daughter made a mess with some dried up hot glue that dropped on the ground. I used medium for that only because I wanted to make sure it got sucked past the rollers and not stuck in the roller area. But like that other review that I referenced earlier, the main concern is if there's any dirt or debris next to the baseboard/wall it won't get those unless you turn the head parallel to the wall. The side of the vacuum won't get them all. But I don't think I've ever had a vacuum get those little pieces unless I did the same maneuver. Before I forget, even at high power this thing is not loud. Not like the old corded vacuums, those I consider loud and have the unmistakable vacuum sound. On this one I can really hear the suction more than the motor at high power it's not intrusive at all. Secondly, I was concerned with battery life because of the wattage of the motor. We don't really know if we're getting a battery that holds it's charge for a month or if it'll last for 2 years, nobody tests these nor would they because there are so many different varieties. Depending on the size of your living space you're either gonna be happy with this battery or you'll dock it some points if you have over 2000 sq ft and carpeting. I personally think these cordless vacuums are made for hard flooring and the occasional rug/carpeting. These are not made for a house of wall to wall carpeting. Good quality corded vacuums have trouble enough with carpeting so go with one of those(not Dyson but one that an actual vacuum store recommends for around $250-$300). So, I start out on low power and I can vacuum my whole space and right at the end the battery will go down to third indicator mark out of 4. Then if there is any remaining battery life(lots of it) I put it on full power and then get the rugs last. But I've also vacuumed with these steps out of order and the battery still didn't die on me. I'd say the manufacturer is correct in their estimates for battery life. I wish there was an option to buy a second one at a discount or even a year from now(if this one has lost storage power) at a discount since I chose their vacuum. Something to mention about charging. You can take the battery out and charge it separately from the vacuum. Some people are gonna be lucky enough to have a closet or space that they can mount the vacuum to the wall and charge it at the same time but none of my closest have an outlet in them. Next, the vacuum feels very light in your hands. Even when you pick it off the ground it doesn't feel off balance or want to fall out of grip. One design issue is putting the power button right at the index finger to make it easer to start since that's right where you put your hand to hold the vacuum. But that is also where you have full grip and you want to grip the power button accidentally turning it off. My brain so far has not turned it off, I guess I have the perfect muscle memory but it's not the biggest of issues. The head of the unit where the roller goes does maneuver well but I've tried out other vacuums at friends houses that maneuvered much better. It's almost like comparing power steering to no power steering. Those other vacuum heads turn like at a 2-1 ratio so you barely have to turn the vacuum and the head turns twice as much, where as this one is more like a 1-1. Still works fine but that could be for the second generation. Also, this vacuum does not stand on it's own. If you go to move furniture around you have to lean this against something or lay it on the floor. There are cheaper vacuums on amazon that stand up. This one will but only with the battery out of it. Lastly, the lights on the vacuum do light up the ground nicely which is a big help. Also, the vacuum comes with extra tools and brushes like most vacuums do and a mount with included screws. But they aren't exactly easy to use because you're putting these little tools onto the bulky motor(it only feels bulky in this situation) and so you're trying to use the tools but one hand has to hold the bulk and the other hand has to guide the tools. What the vacuum needs is a hose so you can put the motor down or still hold the bulky part but the tools will be easier to use because of the hose. Yes, it would add an expense but I've seen cheaper vacuums that included a hose. The prices vary so much on all of these vacuums and I can't see why a lot of the time because most are using weaker motors and still the same amount of plastic as this vacuum. I originally had purchased a $200 Laresar that had a $40 instant savings but for some reason UPS keeps messing up deliveries to my address and I didn't get it nor the amazon delivery before that order. So that one went back to full price and I got this one which I'm happy with so far. ______________________________________________________________________________________ One more thing that might help all vacuum buyers and users. Get yourself a can of "Air in a Can" or maybe you have a compressor at home you can use. Vacuums get dirty. Not just the filters. Every vacuum I own I take apart every few months or at least once a year. Especially down around the head and roller. Some of these parts come apart very easily with a screw or two and once you get the cover off you'll find so much trapped dirt and hair. Be careful around the belts if you don't know how to take things apart or repair things. Rollers come off very easily as well, this one has a little button/switch that easily removes it. Pay attention because there's only one way to put the roller in, the same way it came out. Remove it and get all the hair off that'll wrap itself around. I occasionally use a small brush on the hairy rollers to get all the compacted dirt. Also, if you've lost suction, like 3 times(old vacuum) I've found the suction tube completely filled with dirt and junk. Get a stick and push it out. I've even found it compacted right behind the roller in the head. My best advice is these things work so much better when you keep them clean and it's unfortunate because their job is to get dirty. I'm sure there are lots of people that hate their vacuums after months of use because it's just not working as good as day 1 and I know some of these are just because they are dirty. Keep the filters and roller/head area clean. Just like a car, you can't set it and forget it. That goes for every vacuum on amazon. It's why I got rid of my Roomba is because it still needed to be cleaned and emptied daily or it wouldn't work well. And the whole point of those is to set and forget which you can't do. ... show more

  • It works good, but won’t pick up cat hair from carpet
It works pretty good. My only gripe is that the head isn’t adjustable and doesn’t go down far enough for the drum to pick up cat hair from my rugs and carpet. It does great picking things up from hard wood floors, but it does next to nothing on carpet.

  • Good product
I really enjoyed this product. It comes with many parts to it and is easy to interchange. It mounted easily in a small closet with a plug for storage. I will admit I have a small apartment… But I have no problems with the battery it holds plenty of charge for me. I am using it for just every day cleaning and it had worked great on the first or second setting. The top suction is a little noisy but I haven’t needed to use it so it’s been no issue. ... show more

  • This thing suck and does it very well!
I put the pieces easily. It was not hard to figure out…then powered up. It sucked so much better than my expensive fancy vacuum. It came with some charge but I charged it up and used it…wow, the rugs look newer. I couldn’t believe it.

  • Nice lightweight Vacuum
This is a fairly nice lightweight vacuum. For the price, you do get quite a bit. I would classify this vacuum as a light to medium grade on the suction power. I think this vacuum is better for hard floors rather than carpet and is going to be a kind of tidy-up clean not a deep clean vacuum. It has basically replaced my broom but not my heavy-duty vacuum. It doesn't do much on my rugs but it is great for picking up dust and hair on the floor due to my animals. Anything heavier than that I would probably need my broom or regular vacuum. It was not able to handle a bit of fluff from my dog's stuffed toy. It clogged it up super fast and took me a good 10 minutes to unclog the long stick part of the vacuum. I do feel the suction power on the vacuum is better when not using the long stick attachment but when using the long stick attachment you are going to get that lighter clean vacuum. I do appreciate all the accessories this vacuum comes with they are very handy and I love that I can hang the vacuum while charging it. The charge lasts a good amount of time and I love how quiet this vacuum is. Any other component that I love about this vacuum is how easy it is to empty the barrel. Literally, 1 push of a button and the barrel comes off. I prefer to empty it from the top of the barrel because it's more thorough when done that way. I enjoy using this little vacuum much. It's handy for quick little clean-ups. I would totally give it 5 stars if it could jus be a bit more powerful. So if you are looking for something that does a lighter clean this is the vacuum for you but not if you are looking for a deeper clean. ... show more
