This item is wonderful for my 5 & 7 year old who we have decided to not encourage screen time with. There isn’t a bright blue light so I don’t feel like the screen hurts their eyes, it’s super easy to clean and they enjoy pressing the easy button and it clearing everything as well as the lock button to save what they have done. I had a coupon so decided to try these. I bought them for the kids to use in the car on trips. They were better than expected! The colors are bright (mainly blues and greens) and you can clear the screen and start over with a ouch if a button. You can also lock the screen if you want to save the picture from being erased (accidentally or not). I even use it to make lists, or play tic tac toe or do math problems with my son. I got these to go into kids' activity bags at my church to replace cheap magnetic drawing screens that broke easily and coloring pages. These are proving to be popular with any age child, and instead of tossing and replacing rumpled, scribbled coloring paper and sharpening pencils every week, we just erase, wipe them off and they're ready to go again. I do wish the stylus was attached by a cord, and I worried that younger kids would struggle with how the stylus fits. But for the most part, we usually find the stylus back in its slot, and we haven't lost any. They do come with an extra stylus, which is a plus. They're great for doodling, but not so much for note-taking or anything precise as the markings are pretty bold. Definitely kid-friendly. This product is thin, lightweight, and simple to use. My kid loves these! We use them mainly in the car and it handles heat in the summer well. Despite brought handling it's not had any damage after a couple weeks of use. The stylus is sturdy but easy to lose so it's awesome that they shipped 2 spares with the tablets. I like them, even though they only show two colors but the writing tool doesn't have a string. We lost one but they do come with 2 replacement writing tools.
