With this constant weather change it was time for something like this to meet multiple scenarios. When you just need something to warm you up a little and feel comfy this blanket was a good choice. Its material is very smooth and soft. It a little thick but not too thick so it gives enough warm alone. You can feel the wires inside a little but not much. When it is really chilly you can plug it in and it works great. Takes a little bit to warm but once it does its can get nice and toasty. Pretty happy with it and it is very easy to use.

I live in Florida where we don't have much cold weather but I occasionally prefer an electric blanket over turning on the heat. My first thoughts when unpacking this blanket were it was too thin for even Florida use and that I'd be returning it. I used it on a cold night to test and I was pleasantly surprised at how warm it was on a low level 2 setting. The blanket has an automatic shut off which you can set up to 8 hours, multiple heat settings, and it's a very pretty and soft blanket. I wanted to use it a while before I wrote a review and wash it at least once. It washed well and had no problems with heating after washing in a top loader with an agitator. Overall I would recommend this electric blanket for any climate.
