After searching for the right sunshade solution, we decided on this one because of its classic design, and manual crank handle. The installation was straightforward with clear instructions but you need 2 people for installation. We were able to mount it on our deck wall without any special tools. Once installed, the awning extended and retracted smoothly using the crank handle, which feels sturdy and easy to operate. The UV- and waterproof polyester fabric provides excellent protection from the sun and light rain, allowing us to enjoy our outdoor space in more types of weather. The aluminum frame is lightweight yet strong, and it holds up well in breezy conditions. The media could not be loaded. Heavy and solid. Easy enough to assemble, but I can’t install it alone. The instructions aren’t perfect but it’s easy enough to figure out. Just read through them all first and make sure A1 B1 and C1 line up together. I put one piece in backwards without knowing (instructions didn’t specify I checked). But near the end it showed it should be the other way. The color is nice and it’s heavy and good quality materials.

Pros - The quality seems good and it looks very nice once mounted. It operates smoothly and provides total shade not filtered shade. Cons - The assembly instructions were lacking. Especially when it comes to the orientation of the large parts being connected. Its very easy to assemble the canvas overhang frame that the arms connect backwards due to poor pictures and instructions. I'm fairly mechanically inclined, and went slow, but realized I made the mistake after mounting. This required a lot of time and effort to correct. Note that this awning is heavy (46 pounds) and requires at least to people to mount.

It has very good quality, it is a strong canvas and it does not lose its color, it is very resistant to strong winds and leaves. Its mechanism is very reliable, it opens and closes without a problem. It is very easy to install and it brings everything necessary to do it.

The media could not be loaded. It’s really cool and was easy to put it together. It took couple hours to but it up for me and for my brother. I decided to go with this one instead of paying for a permanent awning couple thousand dollars. It made me save money and I don’t need to worry about storm to take it away since I live in Texas. So definitely recommend it. Works smooth so far.

Even with the pictures, the instructions are not easy to understand. It took some careful study to figure out exactly what to do, but eventually I worked it out. The 10ft product awning is light enough for one person to lift onto the wall brackets. However, it's much easier and safer with two people as recommended. Deploying and retracting the awning is smooth. This is a good product, especially for the cost!

This awning is a clever option to add some shade without major construction, I added it to my shed , this would be my potting station! The handle is easy for me to roll in and out, the frame feels really sturdy , and you can graduate how much you want out and the inclination. Great value and practical design.
