The media could not be loaded. This 3-in-1 garbage bin is the perfect size for my daughter and I. If you have a larger family, it would work too but you will be taking out the garbage more. The smell of the compost/trash is contained when the lid is closed. It arrived in great condition and works perfect. I purchased the sticker labels separately from Amazon. I use a 13 gallon size bag for the trash (which is a typical size for the kitchen) and the recycle and also a 13 gallon size bag for the compost. Because of the length of the bins I find that the 13 gallon size bags works and the thick rubber bands holds the bags sturdy in place. I had originally bought a 6 gallon sized bags for each of the bins but it wasn’t long enough for these bins. So just continue to buy the standard size of 13 gallon trash/recycle/compost bags. Very impressed with this trashcan. Initially, we were worried about the quality based on it’s negative reviews but we found that those reviews were based simply on the size of the trashcan, which happens to be perfect for our family size. (**Note: The stickers on the front and the bag inside of the trashcan in our pictures on this review are items we purchased separately.) The trashcan itself isn’t too tall to hide beyond a counter and each bin is deep. It hides well and holds a good amount. I can see it not working for a family of 5 or 6+ but with our family splitting our waste into trash, recycling, and compost materials, it works really well. It seems to be made of sturdy materials, both inside and out. The inside bins are colored black, blue, and gray. The bins are pretty tough and the bin handle is strong metal and works well. All three lids are slow-closing and you can lift the lid to keep it open, if needed. Personally I don’t understand giving negative reviews for an item simply based on its size when it’s dimensions are clearly listed in the details. My recommendation: get a ruler. Decide for yourself before purchasing like we did. We definitely recommend this trash bin. I can see it serving us well for years to come. ... show more

Really the only complaints I have about this is that the plastic bins seem just a trifle flimsy and they can be tricky to place in the unit after emptying. They seem to go in but when the lid closes you notice it won’t quite close all the way and you have to reseat the bin. I expect with time we’ll get used to getting these seated the first time, but it’s not optimal and the unit was not cheap so I expected a little better. The concept is great, however the bins are way too small. 13 gallon bags tend to come out only hardly half way full. We have found ourselves spending more on bags than on a regular sized bin, unfortunately.

Genuinely so bad. Bins fill up super quickly in a home that doesn't produce much trash. You cant even fit an empty gallon of milk in it when crushed. Our first one came dented but we were sent a replacement without having to send in the dented one. Changing the bags is actually a pain. Im sure cleaning the bins themselves would be easy because the come out, but the inner part would be a complete hassle. Do not buy this, we already want to go back to our old bins ... show more
