The J1772 version is designed for universal compatibility with all electric vehicles, including Tesla. Just keep in mind that for Tesla usage of J1772, an adapter is required. What’s the difference between NEMA 6-50, 14-50, and Hardwired? Home Flex Hardwired offers the fastest charge at up to 50A. NEMA 6-50 and 14-50 versions provide up to 40A and work with existing 240V wall outlets. Do I need a licensed electrician to install my Home Flex? Yes! Choose from our list of preferred electricians to ensure proper breaker and wire sizing and align the amperage of Home Flex with your electrical panel capacity and EV requirements. What do I need to do after I receive my Home Flex? Upon arrival, engage one of our licensed electricians to install your HomeFlex. After installation, download the ChargePoint app and follow the instructions there. Where can I purchase a replacement charging cable should the need arise? We ordered an NACS version of the charger. The box was for an NACS version, but the actual cord was a J1772, not compatible with my car. My electrician installed the device on my house and when I went out to test it on the car we realized it was a J1772 cable. I contacted this 3rd Party Seller (despite Amazon saying “ChargePoint store”) to try and get a refund or the part sent to convert it and they said that I needed to speak to ChargePoint as it was under warranty. I spoke to ChargePoint after an hour of holding for them to tell me that the warranty was for defective items, and this wasn’t defective - it was just wrong, and that I needed to either return the item to the Amazon store or buy the J1772 > NACS converter kit from their website for $200. Since the device is mounted and installed on my house, I can’t return it - so I will be biting the bullet, spending $200 for the converter kit, and then paying my electrician to come out and fix the device. Piss poor customer service and they are blatantly at fault here for sending the wrong device. ... show more

Easy install. Heavy cables. Very short wall plug cable limits location of charger. App setup straightforward. NACS plug worked great on 2025 Hyundai 5.

Great Tesla Charger for Home!

Tried to get an "official" install of a Tesla charger at home. Instead found this and was really easy. Had an electrician install a 50-amp receptacle and the rest was easy to do. Love the smart features and the ability to track costs and schedule charging for off peak hours. The quality of the product is really great too, love the soft and easy to manipulate charging cord. charger won't connect to bluetooth to run setup mode

I can't get this to connect on bluetooth to run setup process. Multiple calls with customer service and no luck. They sent me a second unit and it still won't connect. Customer service appears to be helpful but they are relatively useless and each successive person contradicts what the previous person said. Check out the comments on connectivity and related issue on reddit and other places before buying this product. ... show more
