Package came a day early- that's always great! Out of the box, I was immediately satisfied... Solar power was on instantly and the red dot was bright and crisp. This came with the taller mount already on it and I installed it on the pic rail in under 30 seconds. Mount feels lightweight but plenty sturdy and sits tight on the rail. The red dot is set up as a 1/3 co-witnessed with my flip up irons, and the sight picture is really good. The red dot is washed out in the picture that I provided due to auto focus on my phone, but rest assured in person, it's crisp 2 MOA... Glass is clear- dot is bright and crisp, unit adds very little weight to my rifle. Based off of this initial impression, I am very pleased and feel like this is a great buy for the money. I still need to get to the range and use this thing, but if the remainder of my experience is as good as my first impression, this red dot is the real deal.

This is well worth the money. Every feature is as-described. If you're used to the off-brand sights, you'll be a believer in Holosun after buying this. The adaptive brightness is amazing. And any movement turns it right on. Great utility.

Really enjoy this on my Springfield saint pistol. This is running on a short barrel .223 pistol and it performs very well. Easy to adjust with the built in turn caps to dial it in and the always on feature and auto off are a no brainer to reserve power. In addition the anticipated battery life is stellar and looking forward to getting many hours out of this unit. The dot is clear and crisp which makes targeting and keeping a tight group easier but the ability to crank up the brightness is nice in case of a bright day to still clearly see the dot in any environment is great. So far no functionality issues and mounting seems rock solid. I would definitely tell a friend to have no reservations in buying this compared to the over priced aimpoint scopes. This hasn't been tested over the long haul but it seems to be of solid construction. Great piece of hardware and if I have a similar gun philosophy I will likely put this same scope on that gun as well.

The Holosun gunsight has been great on my 16" AR-15 carbine. I have shot it in low light and in direct sunlight and it always is set to the perfect brightness for me and I have not ever had to use it on battery powered mode. The construction and function of the sight work well for me. It's not going to be an Aimpoint Micro replacement, but still provides incredible value. The front lens of the sight is angled away from the center boreline making it less reflective. The included high mount gives a perfect 1/3 lower co-witness. I have two main complaints about the sight. The first is that the dot blossoms and is not really 2 MOA. I have tried on every brightness setting, but the dot is never as crisp as on an Aimpoint or EOTech. At a fraction of the cost, I can accept that but just want to let other people know. The second complaint is that the adjustments are not marked up/down and left/right. You have to flip the adjustment protective caps over then the up/down and left/right adjustment markings reveal themselves.

Que me disculpe Vortex por lo que voy ha decir pero Haloson los dejo muy atrás antes de este punto rojo tuve que devolver 2 de Vortex (sparc ii) porque en realidad me decepcionaron y desde que me llegó este halosun me encantó la construcción la calidad del cristal el agarre lo instale el mi arma y lo calibre con un láser y casi estaba a cero tengo que ir al campo de tiro a ponerlo a cero y probar su calidad pero hasta ahora muy satisfecho vale la pena gastar unos dólares más ,su tecnología iluminación automática, encendido por movimiento y auto apagado perfecto muy contento con el producto
