I may be biased in that I already have several Holosun optics and wanted this for a rifle since I am familiar with them already. This is a great optic, with quick connect/disconnect (just flip a lever that is adjustable for tension and it comes off), both for the optic and for the magnifier. That was important since I do a lot of close shooting (less than 25 yards), so I wanted to be able to take the magnifier off and put it on easily. Also, I have a low mount picatinny rail that they are mounted on so I can’t co-witness with the iron sights with the optic on, but if it ever fails it is so easily removed that it’s not really an issue. Easy to mount, easy to zero and easy to use. I like having the option of either dot with circle (close) or just dot (farther away or for better accuracy) as well as adjustable brightness. The only negative is that the buttons on the side to adjust brightness and circle/dot are not that easy to feel in order to use when trying to look through the optic. ... show more

This in an incredibly high quality product. Holosun has made a name for themselves in the bang for buck optic space, and this is a perfect example. Eye relief on magnifier is top notch, and adjustability is nice. Mechanism for flip to side magnifier works incredibly. Had it for over a year now and no worries about the battery.
