My only real complaint is they only use the front two recoil lugs of the Shield/J-Point/Optima footprint, with these lugs as part of the Hellcat slide, I needed an adapter plate or get the rear lugs milled off the slide, I chose the former. Sight is bright and I love the circle dot reticle option, and side mount battery. My main concern is the shake awake feature -- it'll be nearly always on when I'm carrying it walking around or riding in a vehicle as far as I can tell. I can see it is off when it is on my bench, but I've not bee able to move it without it turning on. ... show more

I love this red dot for sub compact / micro carry pistols. Holosun needs no endorsement of mine, they're already widely agreed upon one of the best and for good reason. No buyer's remorse here, works like it should, feels SUPER durable (I've carried it daily for a couple of months now), doesn't affect my slide reciprocation on my semi auto carry, hasn't moved from zero after probably 500 rounds and a few months on my hip, it's expensive but you get what you pay for. Excellent red dot. The frame is very solid. While I have no intention of putting it through a torture test, I do believe that it would hold up to even unreasonable handling. I love the side battery tray. That feature alone makes it a winner over other red dots in this size. Not having to remove the optic to replace the battery (and thus not having to re-zero) is a big win in my book. Several other red dots of this size require removal to replace the battery. Battery life is stated as 50,000 hours. I can’t speak to that, but my battery is several months old and still going strong. I like the 2 MOA dot. For the 32 MOA reticle I am still on the fence. But the nice thing is that you can just have the dot showing, just have the reticle, or have both. A push of a button just cycles through the three options. Plenty of settings to take it from dim to bright. For me, the brightest setting is too bright even in sunlight. Lowest setting is almost invisible, so you should definitely be able to find the right setting to fit your preferences. It also has night vision settings, but I can’t test those. This far outpaces the Romeo Zero it replaced. I bought a second one of these for my wife. She loves it too. I switched from a different red dot to the Holosun. She switched from irons to the Holosun. We both are extremely happy with it! ... show more

After watching many reviews on YouTube, I decided to go with the Holosun HS507K-X2 for my SIG P365. I tried the SIG Romeo's and didn't like them. Didn't like the field, didn't like that the housing was plastic and didn't like the menu selection structure. This optic is 100% compatible with the SIG P365 pistols that are optic ready. It installs using 2 T10 Torx screws. The screws come with thread locker on them. Setup was straight forward and easy. This is my first optic and all I can say is WOW!. I'm a much better shooter than I thought. I'm aging and so are my eyes. I could use these with my prescription glasses...everything was CRISP! I can enjoy shooting again. What a world of difference. While dialing it in, I was able to put 10 rounds through 1 square inch at 30 ft. I actually was laughing...I was shocked. At 55 ft I was able to put all my rounds in 3 square inches. Still laughing. Bench rested; I was able to put all my rounds into 1 square inch at 55 ft. What a world of difference. Would I buy this optic again? 100% hell yes. I highly recommend. Having 3 different reticles, a great range of brightness, huge sight picture, being able to lock your settings in, ability to adjust your shut down times. HOMERUN! ... show more
