Shake Awake technology conserves battery by powering the sight on with motion and turning it off when idle. Lock Mode—first introduced in Holosun's law enforcement models—prevents accidental changes to settings, making it an excellent choice for defensive carry. This little 507K was purchased to top off a new firearm that was pre cut to accept the 407K/507K. It fit like a glove and was simple to install. It performs flawlessly like all Holosun optics I've tried. The dot is easy to find and the multi reticle gives me 3 choices. This is daylight bright even in the brightest sun. Other Holosun optics I've had take a lickin and keep on runnin. I could by the BIG name super spendy stuff, but why. Holosun is miles ahead of the competition when it comes to design. For me every Holosun product I've owned has lasted. They're well built and priced well. Of course right after I bought this, I saw it on a great sale for $70 less. That's just my bad luck. The Holosun HE507K-GR X2 has been an absolute upgrade for my carry setup. The green dot is super clear, easy to pick up quickly, and works great in all lighting conditions—even bright sunlight. I love the shake-awake feature, and battery life is phenomenal. Fit and finish are top-notch, and installation was easy with the right adapter plate. Everything is perfect with this optic. All the features work exactly and the price point (295 at this time) is fantastic. Locally I couldn’t find this exact optic for under 375 dollars. The shake awake is really sensitive. Which leads me to think that the 1 star complaints are people who have bought firearms after playing Call Of Duty and do not understand how the principles of a reflective sight work. If you have issues torquing your weapon when you aim- this WILL show that by extreme differences in groups. If you’re new to red dots- make sure that you get this milled to your slide or you have a milled slide that fits this optic. Using a dove tail plate or an adapter for a precut factory setup will cause you to not be able to use the iron sights as cowitness. The ability for you to still use your iron sights when first sighting in and practicing acquisition of the target will show you if you’re torquing the pistol when your bring it up. You’ll think the dot is on point for it will look in line with the barrel, but if you then look at your irons you’ll see if you’re actually lined up. Many of the 1 star complaints are due to not understanding this.(people who complained they cannot zero the optic). As for the issue of reported of some of the optics being “fake”, this is not the case with this seller. The optic comes with a verify QR on the side that links directly to verify this product as what it is online. Honestly, if you think you’re gonna find a 300 dollar optic for 100 dollars just cus it’s on Amazon, you kinda deserve to get scammed. Overall, great optic. I beat the hell out of this thing and it still runs. never had a problem with seeing the dot in the summer sun. Battery life is so good im not even sure if I've replaced the battery in years, I should probably do that right now come to think of it.

Great sight for ccw. I have it on my 43X and it has been perfect. The reticle is crisp, the red dot is nice and bright, and the brightness levels are easy to adjust. Feels solid and reliable every time I carry. Really happy with this optic.

First the bad: The reticle is tilted to one side, it’s not square. With the dot or circle you won’t notice it of course, but with the crosshair-style reticle, you notice it. I’ve read others who have had this issue, I guess it’s within the margin of error so they let it go. It isn’t going to affect shooting to any noticeable degree, but it’s not the way it should be, simply put. Yeah, it’s lower cost than a Trijicon or something, but it’s still high enough price that it should get that right (I have seen and owned cheaper sights, and none of them have had tilted reticles). At times it can lock up and not respond to any input. Happened once to me, wouldn’t change from the dot reticle and wouldn’t turn off. It turns out that Holosun actually has directions on how to fix this, and it’s simple (you hold the buttons or something a certain way, I forget), but if you don’t look it up and see it on their website or a forum, you might be pretty angry about it until you do. Mine responded fine and went back to normal. The good: Well, basically everything else for now (haven’t needed customer service yet, we’ll see). I like the shape, I like the reticle options, I like the brightness and the lens clarity, I like the fit and finish (other than the glaring issue with the tilted reticle), I like how it looks, the weight, etc. Of course price is a large factor here as well. ... show more

After watching many reviews on YouTube, I decided to go with the Holosun HS507K-X2 for my SIG P365. I tried the SIG Romeo's and didn't like them. Didn't like the field, didn't like that the housing was plastic and didn't like the menu selection structure. This optic is 100% compatible with the SIG P365 pistols that are optic ready. It installs using 2 T10 Torx screws. The screws come with thread locker on them. Setup was straight forward and easy. This is my first optic and all I can say is WOW!. I'm a much better shooter than I thought. I'm aging and so are my eyes. I could use these with my prescription glasses...everything was CRISP! I can enjoy shooting again. What a world of difference. While dialing it in, I was able to put 10 rounds through 1 square inch at 30 ft. I actually was laughing...I was shocked. At 55 ft I was able to put all my rounds in 3 square inches. Still laughing. Bench rested; I was able to put all my rounds into 1 square inch at 55 ft. What a world of difference. Would I buy this optic again? 100% hell yes. I highly recommend. Having 3 different reticles, a great range of brightness, huge sight picture, being able to lock your settings in, ability to adjust your shut down times. HOMERUN! ... show more
