Purchased for a Glock 41 MOS, perfect fit, great reflex sight. This is the Green dot, much easier to pick up quickly IMO. This is my 2nd 507C, finally had to replace the battery on my first one after 5 years.

I have several Holosun red dots. They work great! They are rugged enough for competition in which I have used them. They are well made and are easy to zero. Controls are simple. Love the shake wake feature and the looong battery life. Upon receipt of this one, the red dot did not work. I opened the battery compartment and took out the battery to discover that the battery had been put in backwards (or upside down). The “+” side was up when it should have been down. Once I placed it in the correct configuration it worked perfectly. Well worth the money. I am an older guy and was accustomed to iron sights. The holosun 507c is fantastic... I mounted it to my 2011 using a trijicon mounting plate (this optic fits RMR footprint) Install was as simple of tightening two screws. Zeroing was the easiest of any pistol optic i have ever used and was even pretty close out of the box (it even said it would be close in the manual). The optic has a setting for every situation you could ever need, it has the circle, dot, and circle with dot. The circle i have used much but John from ASP swears by it. The dot is fantastic for longer range shots and i was even able to us this for very repeatable 100yard shots. The circle dot is PERFECT for everything inside 50y yards, and aids in finding the dot fast. More impressive is the durability of this tank of a red dot. I have an RMR, and I'm almost convinced the RMR eould break before this holosun. The aluminum is thicker than a snicker. The glass is pretty clear and it's a decent shape for cleaning powder off of after a range session. The shake awake function is flawless, the auto time off can be changed to different times, and the brightness settings work for every situation. I don't personally use the auto brightness, but it does work well. This optic is a far better than it's price suggests, it's an RMR killer for sure... ... show more

Surly the best green dot site. Solid and always ready with shack awake reticle. I have 3 now. 1 for each my 2 Glocks and 1 for my SIG 9MM 229 LEGION. The Sig setup is deadly right on. 1 complaint. The mounting plate cost $45 dollars. For that money I thought it would be titanium or steel at least. It is just a piece of cheap plastic with 2 screw holes for mounting the 507CX2. Very disappointed... The CNC aluminum Billet housing with solar panels across the top is a great design ... show more

So the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the first sight that was sent to me was bowed? It was not flat and would rock back and forth on the adapter plate! I knew it wasn’t my forward controls design adapter plate, which are the best adapter plates to buy hands down! With me being a woodworker and having a planer and jointer I sat this sight on the beds of these surfaces that are extremely flat and found out the plate was perfectly flat as expected from FCD and the sight was not, it would rock back and forth on the beds of my planer and jointer! I got a replacement sent to me and it was absolutely perfectly flat. No gaps and super flat on the second sight that was sent to me! It dropped right into the plate I’m very happy Amazon helped getting me another sight sent to me since the first was obviously messed up! Photo4Less didn’t do anything about it they said it would be up to Amazon! I just have to say it’s nice being able to buy stuff and if it’s not right Amazon will make it right! Most of these companies will try to get over on people these days and Amazon in my experience has always had the consumers back so to speak!! Very very happy with the replacement sent to me and couldn’t ask for anything better. Forward controls design plate with Holosun 507c work great together now!! Thanks Amazon!!! ... show more
