The Aimpoint ACRO P-2 is everything I want in a red dot for a defensive pistol. I have it mounted on my Walther PDP, and the fit is perfect low profile, rock-solid, and purpose-built for serious use. The closed emitter design is a huge advantage, especially in rain, dust, or high-stress environments. No exposed lenses means no reliability concerns. The dot itself is crisp and easy to pick up quickly, and brightness settings are intuitive and responsive it holds up in bright sunlight and low-light scenarios without issue. Battery life is outstanding, and I love the side-loading battery compartment no need to re-zero after a swap. Zeroing was quick, and it’s held zero perfectly through multiple range sessions and thousands of rounds. It’s rugged, dependable, and looks right at home on the PDP slide. Crispest red dot I’ve used on a pistol and this is super important because I have astigmatism in my right eye. Rock solid sight and I have bought two of them so far: one for my duty gun and one for an AR-15.

I am sending this one back for a return, but I have placed a new order in the meantime let’s hope it goes better than the first. Product looked used and the glass was horrible. Only giving 5 stars because the vendor so far has been great, will keep it updated as to how the return process goes.
