I put my hard-earned 500 dollars in the hope that it will help alleviate some of the pains I have by sitting on a chair for longer hours. I do not think this chair is worthy of $500. It's a decent chair but there are a lot of observations I have in a few days of using the chair. 1. Armrest shakes - it gives me a feeling that it will fall off(cheaply built) 2. My kitten had finally completed the destruction of my prior office chair, so I was in the market for a new one. I decided to try this one. The gray and turquoise color scheme matched perfectly in my cool toned office and I was curious to see if a more expensive chair by a highly recognized brand would actually be better for me. Spoiler alert - it's not. I liked my old chair perfectly fine and I think I spent maybe $179 on it. It was actual leather with a metal base, comfy seat and back with cushioned arms, and height adjustable. This one is plastic, mesh, and textured cloth and is actually less comfortable. The seat cushion feels very hard. I'm sure some people will call that supportive, but I like a little give to my chair. I don't think the mesh back is comfortable at all and while the lumbar support is adjustable, it can't really be removed. The back does have a tilt option, but not very far. The arm rests are height adjustable, but don't shift forward or back. This doesn't seem ideal as people have varying body shapes and types. I don't find the position of the armrest comfortable and wish I was able to move them forward. The directions provided with the chair are applicable to several different models and it took me a few moments to figure out which one I was dealing with so I could adjust the tilt. I honestly can't believe this is a $600 chair. Maybe for businesses that are willing to overspend on furniture for use in an actual commercial office cubicle, but this is not a chair I would recommend for a home office. It's very much a task chair and I prefer a cozy executive seat, especially for this amount of money. ... show more

Received a chair that was previously bought and returned. The synchro tilt did not work and I could not insert the caster into one of the slots. Bad quality control for $400+ chair. The only good about this chair is the seat. It is a rare chair that uses a suspended cushion and this is extremely comfortable unlike other cushions which are mounted on a hard wooden base or so. ... show more

    • Very nice office chair, but $600 nice?

I've sat in a lot of office chairs over the years, from plushy leather, to cheap import, to those fancy Aeron chairs and lots in between. This chair is definitely on the "more comfy" side of things. Things I like and dislike about this chair. Pros: - Comfortable. This chair is a blend of mesh and padded that I think is the best mix of those materials. I like the seat padding that you don't get with a full weave chair like the Aeron while getting the weave style for the backing, which I also my preferred backrest type. This is a comfortable chair one you get it dialed in. - Adjustablility. The chair has the standard adjustments you get with nicer chairs. Seat height, armrest height, seat front/back, lean back and lockout, as well as armrest left right adjust. There is no armrest forward back and I do find the lean back tension doesn't get as loose as I'd like. - Lumbar support. Removeable thank goodness as I have yet to sit in a weave/mesh backed chair where that actually helps or is comfortable. Does slide up and down if you do actually like this support. - Design. It's a desk chair. Still, it does have a clean and "not cheap" look which is appreciated. - Fit/Finish. I was let down here a bit. The top edge of the backrest has a noticeably sharp mold line that I'm surprised was let out the door on a chair in this price range. I don't expect taking a nail file to my desk chair would be necessary when paying $600. In summary, this is a comfy and nice looking desk chair. My only concerns are that horrendous mold edge and the price. I've sat in comfy chairs that were half the price. That said, if you like this style of chair and haven't been able to find one that fits your needs for less, this is a good chair. ... show more
