The plastic nicks my arms as it is not sanded down so the edges are sharp. For the money it is way too expensive for the value in my opinion. Also the arms move in and out but they do not lock so you slowly push them all the way out as you sit. My kitten had finally completed the destruction of my prior office chair, so I was in the market for a new one. I decided to try this one. The gray and turquoise color scheme matched perfectly in my cool toned office and I was curious to see if a more expensive chair by a highly recognized brand would actually be better for me. Spoiler alert - it's not. I liked my old chair perfectly fine and I think I spent maybe $179 on it. It was actual leather with a metal base, comfy seat and back with cushioned arms, and height adjustable. This one is plastic, mesh, and textured cloth and is actually less comfortable. The seat cushion feels very hard. I'm sure some people will call that supportive, but I like a little give to my chair. I don't think the mesh back is comfortable at all and while the lumbar support is adjustable, it can't really be removed. The back does have a tilt option, but not very far. The arm rests are height adjustable, but don't shift forward or back. This doesn't seem ideal as people have varying body shapes and types. I don't find the position of the armrest comfortable and wish I was able to move them forward. The directions provided with the chair are applicable to several different models and it took me a few moments to figure out which one I was dealing with so I could adjust the tilt. I honestly can't believe this is a $600 chair. Maybe for businesses that are willing to overspend on furniture for use in an actual commercial office cubicle, but this is not a chair I would recommend for a home office. It's very much a task chair and I prefer a cozy executive seat, especially for this amount of money. ... show more

When I'm either gaming or working in my home office, I sit down for a few hours at a time. I've tried out my fair share of gaming chairs and office chairs to see which has the most comfortable seat, and what will prevent my behind from falling asleep or going numb while I'm trying to work. I've had the best luck with gaming chairs so far, until I got this office chair. PROS The seat doesn't look like much, but it's got a lot of cushion, and is the perfect balance of firm and soft, so my backside doesn't get numb while sitting for long periods of time. The ergonomics are great. There is a lot more adjustability in t6his chair than meets the eye, and it can be perfectly adjusted to your preferences. The mesh backing keeps the air flow on your back, so you don't end up with lower back sweat stains like you might with an insulated gaming chair. The wheels are definitely a step up from what you would expect. Most office chairs come with cheap casters that barely roll, but these are much higher quality and roll with ease. Despite being a much higher quality chair, it doesn't translate to a more difficult assembly. This was a breeze to put together. CONS The pads for the armrests are on the stiffer side, so after a while, my arms go a bit numb. It would be nice to have softer elbow pads. The armrest pads have the capability to move side-to-side, but not forward or backwards. The armrest pads do not lock in place, so they have a slight tendency to slide out when resting my arms on them. Overall, the slight shortcomings of the armrests don't really take away much from an otherwise excellent office chair. The seat and backrest are both incredibly supportive, but breathable enough to keep me cool. I would highly recommend this chair to anybody who is looking for a long-term sitting solution. ... show more

This office chair is easily as good as any fancy Herman Miller office chair I've used. The seat base is extremely sturdy and comfortable and feels like it'll last a lifetime, unlike the cheaper ones that feel like they may need to be replaced after a year. The overall design is clearly nodding to the line of office chairs made popular by Herman Miller, so it has a very high-end aesthetic. And the build quality matches the look, providing sturdy and ergonomic support for long days spent at your desk. The tilt controls are extremely easy to use and the chair raises and lowers with ease. I was honestly shocked how simple and quick it was to assemble this chair. I've spent countless hours sitting on my floor amongst a mess of chair parts putting together office chairs in the past. But this one was a breeze. Took me about five minutes total and I was able to do it myself. Pro-tip: place the seat part upside down on a couch when you're assembling it. Seriously, this was such a nice surprise. I was fully expecting it to take forever to put together and to have to decipher a bunch of complicated instructions, but that didn't turn out to be the case at all. I opted for the white/tan color combo and I'm glad I did. It's stunning in person and goes with absolutely everything. My old office chair looked like it belonged in a public school computer classroom or library. This chair has become a statement piece in my home office and I'm absolutely in love with it. ... show more
