I literally just stumbled across this listing today, and my first thought was, ‘Where has this been all my life?’ My two big boys—Biscuit and Mochi—are not exactly graceful in a standard litter box. Litter ends up on the floor, in their fur, everywhere. The open-top design here looks perfect for them: no awkward head bumping, no tight space, and it’s actually stylish enough that I wouldn’t mind it in my laundry room. What really caught my attention was the self-cleaning part with app control—imagine starting a cleaning cycle from my phone while I’m still at work! The safety sensors are reassuring too because Mochi loves to “supervise” anything mechanical. In my head, I’m already picturing checking the app from my hotel room, seeing a little notification that says ‘Luna has used the litter box’… and knowing it’s already been cleaned. I’ve been using this litter box for about a month now, and it has completely changed my routine. I have two cats (a 16 lb Ragdoll and a smaller rescue), and both of them took to it right away. I was worried at first that they might be intimidated by the self-cleaning mechanism, but the open-top design really helps—there’s no enclosed space to make them nervous. The cleaning cycle is smooth and surprisingly quiet, although there’s a short beep before it starts. At first my younger cat ran over to watch it, but now she ignores it completely. I love that the sensors are very sensitive—it stops immediately if they get close during a cycle, which makes me feel safe leaving it running even while I’m not home. Odor control is probably the biggest win here. Before, I had to scoop twice a day or the smell would hit me as soon as I walked into my apartment. With this box, the waste drawer seals everything in, and the little aromatherapy box actually makes a difference—it’s subtle but noticeable. I only need to empty the waste every 6–8 days, and topping up litter once a week is enough.
