Very large digits make this watch very readable even for the old eyes of a senior citizen (like me). I used to love my old Casio digital watches, but as the years went by I needed something with very large digits. The atomic feature is nice to have because it makes the watch very accurate. The talking feature is helpful at night or when in a dark room. My only complaint is that the watch doesn't have backlighting. Some would say that backlighting is not needed due to the talking feature. But, if you're in a low light area and you don't want to disturb people around you (like in a movie theater) backlighting would be useful. I still gave the watch 5 stars despite that one complaint because overall the watch performs well for the money. ... show more

This watch was the perfect gift for my husband with macular degeneration. He is able now to know time during work day with out struggling see watch face. This watch watch is loud enough for him to hear yet not to loud to draw attention to it. Highly recommend this for anyone with eye problems

Received this with much anticipation. It is easy to read. The voice that speaks the time is tinny but loud enough. Unfortunately, on opening the box of a brand new watch, the LCD display was defective. The parts of the seconds were not visible. Does not bode well for the quality of the watch. I purchased this for a 94year old family member. It quotes the time and date out loud. The volume is nothing obnoxious just loud enough to catch ones attention, a big help to keep her on track and maintain some sense of independence. All features are still working after 5 months.
