I have 2 outdoor propane heaters 3 years old. They were difficult to start and I was convinced it was the thermocouple. I ordered the thermocouple and replaced one which was not hard but tedious. The unit was still difficult so I replaced the tilt switch as well, it now works like new! So on the other heater I easily replaced the tilt switch and it fired right up. Was a direct replacement for Redcore R3 1500 watt heater tilt switch. Most difficult part was trying to figure out how to disassemble the heater housing in order to access the switch location for testing and replacement.
