When we received the product they packaging was damaged since it was shipping only in the manufactures package. Lucky that the unit itself was not damaged. I would suggest if you order this unit make a "gift" as that would have additional packaging to protect it. We've had good use of the product so I would recommend this item. ... show more

    • OK, but has its limitations
The face is concave so it is only good for round cans. Will not cut straight sided sardine cans. Because of the curvature, the roller pulls out and derails. Have to use my hand held manual side cutter for this. Also, there is no method included to remove the lid. I believe others have a magnet, but this may only be for top cutting openers. My hand held has a pincer, operated by the handles which works well. There are certain round cans today which have lids of reduced diameter to facilitate stacking. This unit will not work on these cans whereas my handheld will. The only reason I bought this unit was because my wife's fingers are becoming arthritic and she has difficulty with the manual. ... show more
