My husband was amazed the first time he saw this work. I wanted a can opener for the RV. I needed something that wouldn’t take up a lot of space. This is perfect. I do a lot of cooking in our RV and wanted a can opener similar to my home can opener that wouldn’t leave a sharp, cutting edge on the can. This does that. The can opener cuts well on one pass, no need to run it twice. Leaves a smooth edge on the can and lid, making it a safe option. I recommend this.

I like this Kitchen Mama can opener. It works well. Put it on your can, push the button, let it go around a few times th.n put the buttom again. Then it stops and reverses a bit. You just lift the opener up and voila, the can is open and you have a no cut edge. Much easier than the various manual openers I have in the drawer, Bottom line is that this can opener works as stated. Do you have to have this, no. Do you want to have it, yes.

I have been struggling with manual can openers, but not anymore! This works like a charm. I love how it leaves smooth edges to the lid. Also, I don't think that there is a magnet which helps lift the lid off as you remove the opener. The only thing that bugs me is that it doesn't stop automatically when it's done--you have to watch it. Also, you may want to punch holes and drain off liquid, otherwise it may leak while opening.

This can opener is amazing! We had a wall-mounted opener that was so finicky and finally stopped holding the cans. I've never seen one like this. It was recommended in several reviews, so I decided to try it. Put your can on the counter and attach this opener to the top, and it sort of crawls around the lid by itself. It seems to separate the lid from the sides in a way that leaves neither edge sharp. I have had it for a few months and it hasn't run out the batteries. The cutting mechanism has no exposed sharp elements and is designed so that food seems to not gunk up, so cleaning is a breeze. I would by another.

I bought this can opener in November of 2022. I had to change the batteries last week for the second or third time and felt I needed to thank someone for an absolutely outstanding kitchen tool. At the time I purchased it I wasn't expecting to get such a quality product. The on the counter can opener died an I ordered the Kitchen Mama as a stop gap measure until I could decide which counter eating device was needed. 2 1/2 years later the opener lives happily in a drawer. If the occasion ever occurs that it needs replacing I'll buy the exact same thing. Thanks Kitchen Mama

I purchased this electric can opener for my mother-in-law who suffers from extreme arthritis. It has helped SO much! You literally just put your can up to the piece like you would any other can opener and hit the button and it will take off on its own. All you have to do is pop a few batteries in it. Going to be ordering for my mom and Grandma as well. Great find!

A much better alternative to the hand crank ones i have used for years. They soon lose their ability to open cans. Only recently got this one so we will see how it holds up. But so far it works great. Takes some practice to get it set up right on the can. And Sometimes it goes around but does not cut. But still happy with it.
