We also love not having to worry about them sharp lid and digging in the can to get it out instead thw can opener removed it smoothly off without a worry. The noise is decent and not loud at all because of how quick the machine is you don’t even notice it. My mom does a quick wipe down after every use and it still looks brand new. Works well but Base has no anti skid grip. It slips on the counter easily. What kitchen counter top gadget has no anti slip base?? This is proof Amazon Essentials are essentially low grade products.

Recent purchase, so far so good. Took a few cans to break it in and get the hang of it but it’s working well. Cuts clean and quickly. Small but mighty. Hold the cans well too. Matches all other stainless steel and black appliances in my kitchen. Have not tried the knife/scissor sharpener as we have whetstone sharpening steel sticks for that. The opener arrived quickly. It is nice looking. I rated it 4 because it's about 2 inches shorter than my old one. It opens small soup and veggie cans fine. As others mentioned, the cord is hard to get out of the storage in the back.

Works great! Super easy to use, doesn't get stuck on the cans. I havent had any issue with can sizes as of yet. It's compact and fits well on the counter and is very quick.

There are better ones on the market that work. This is VERY finicky. You have to hold your can to open and half the time it will slip and not open. THIS IS NOT MENT FOR LARGER CANS. It makes a mess and does a very poor job at open cans.
