I've worked at my first office job for about 2 1/2 years now, and I have noticed it has been much easier to gain weight and harder to lose weight without spending lots of time at the gym and really watching every calorie since I'm sitting 9-10 hours a day. At the office, HR granted permission for a standing desk so that helps a little, but since COVID we've been working a hybrid schedule (that will now be permanent for my office) so I invested in a standing desk from IKEA. I got the idea to get a foldable treadmill from social media, and I did lots and lots of research before selecting this treadmill. So far, I have only used it for walking up to the 2.5 mph setting while it's under my standing desk as I am working from home. When looking for the right treadmill, I needed to make sure it would hold my bodyweight (pushing 240) and would be able to withstand 4-5 hours of walking per week, at least. So far, this treadmill has exceeded my expectations. The weight limit is around 260 and I don't feel like it's poor quality or won't hold my weight. It's on the heavier side and I don't want to move it super often, but it does have wheels to help move it and it's very compact. Some reviews I've seen on this product that I can either bust or agree with in regards to my particular item I received: 20 Amp Electrical Outlet: Mine was able to plug directly into a normal wall outlet and I have had no problems with it. It can catch and the belt might not be smooth: Yes it needs to be lubricated when you first purchase it before use. Mine came with two small bottles of it. I followed a video on YouTube that showed you how to do it, it also has instructions in the manual. The first maybe 4-5 days it wasn't the smoothest belt to walk on, especially if I wasn't going very quick, but today I'm walking on it at a comfortable speed and it's very smooth and much quieter. They have a table for how often they suggest you to lubricate it based on your usage, and I still have a whole bottle and a half left, I probably won't need to lube for another two months at least. It's small: Yes - it's not the biggest treadmill and the belt isn't very long, but you shouldn't buy this treadmill and expect what you see at a gym. I feel like I can comfortably walk on it without any issues or feeling like I'll fall off. I just had to get the positioning under my desk perfect so I was standing in the middle of the treadmill. Tracking Stats: I don't use this at all right now - I have read that it's not very accurate and it doesn't save the stats after turning off. To me, that's not a huge deal. I track all my workouts on my Apple Watch, so it's no necessary for me, so think about that if you're thinking about purchasing this. I can't find a review that has had this happen to them, but there's been times where I think someone accidently connects their device to the Bluetooth speaker in my treadmill. Admittedly I haven't even been able to figure out how to use that function yet, and I can't even see the treadmill when I scan for Bluetooth devices. If I leave the switch of the treadmill on (it's not running at this point, it's just left on) I sometimes will hear static like someone's connected to it, it'll beep, or even one night my husband and I were laying in bed and it started playing really loud music. It scared us! It's been weird and creepy but I just plan to make sure to shut it off. That's my only complaint so far. Overall - It's (so far) absolutely perfect for what I bought it for. Walking while I'm working to get those steps in. I haven't tried running on it yet but it's working exactly for what I bought it for. I think it was worth spending my tax return on!! If you were looking to get more steps in while you’re working, this treadmill works. It is easy, to put together, fairly lightweight, and fairly quiet. It comes with an app as well as a remote so that you can control the speed. It also has an emergency cord as well as a handle that you can move up and down if you were just walking without a desk. It does not go very fast. At 5’4” I tend to be of a fast walker, so I usually max out the speed. The length and width of the treadmill work out good for me. If you are someone who has longer strides while walking, take that into consideration when evaluating any walking tread. Other things to take to consideration, are the layout of your room. The treadmill is fairly easy to maneuver, but when trying to store under my desk, it makes it extremely difficult to maneuver. The reason being because you have to tilt the treadmill at a specific angle in order to get the wheels to move, and this is not a simple task when the treadmill is stored under your desk. You should also consider where your outlets are. Do you want to continue to plug and unplug it In order to move .The cord is not very long so you may need to consider an extension cord. All in all this treadmill does what I purchased it to do and I do find it as a value for the price. ... show more

The treadmill is compact and can be moved anywhere. It is not loud, and can be controlled via phone and remote. Battery is not included but the vendor addressed my problems. Great product great customer service .

    • Cheaply Made & The Customer Service is Terrible as Well

I bought this item back in December of 2022. It was a Christmas gift for my wife, and she loved it! For the first couple of months, it was working really well. Obviously, it deviated from one side to the other, no big deal. Around October of 2023 (LESS THAN A YEAR) it continued to deviate. I thought I had fixed it based on the instructions in the manual provided with the purchase. Nothing was working at this point, so I decided to message the customer service on here and let them know. You can only message them via Amazon Message Center. I informed them of the problem. At first, they claimed that I never bought this item but after going back and forth they finally found it. I was sent a random YouTube video. At this point the treadmill was unusable as it was severally deviated to the left side. Based on the youtube video and manual I tried to fix it. I got the belt right in the middle and it was running smoothly. I stepped on it and the belt completely stopped but you could hear the motor still trying to run. I quickly got off it. I lifted it up and started to unplug it when it made a loud popping sound and smoke came out. Weird. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it didn't work anymore. I immediately let customer service know. They basically told me too bad; the item is defective and that since it's now out of warranty there was nothing that could be done and offered 5% off my next purchase. That's it. Mind you my message from them that provided this info was at the start of January 2024. This thing lasted basically less than a year and for the price of almost $400 you think it would?
