I've been looking to making different kinds of drinks, flourishes, and even using hardwood smokes. So far I found that this is the COOLEST and BEST addition yet. I'm a big fan of cultivating a well-stocked bar at home instead of paying to get cocktails at restaurants/bars. You can afford to buy nice things for it and still end up way ahead of what you'd be spending if you go out - which is why I got this set. The wood base is high quality, I love that there's a space for each of the items, and the selection of items is good. I would have loved for there to be a stopper for wine included instead of 2 different pour spouts, but otherwise, the selection of tools is good and useful. I haven't used all of them yet, but they seem to be decent quality. The only issue I have is the same that others have mentioned: there is a glaring typo in the recipe printed on both sides of the wood base. Even if the recipes were only printed on one side of it, I could just put that side in the back, but since they're printed on both sides I don't have an option to hide it. Honestly, the recipes look kind of tacky, too (the rest of the unit is very minimalist and classic) -- maybe just including a recipe book instead would be better! That way, if there's a typo, it at least doesn't have to be on display at my house!

This set is nice, for sure. It really includes everything you need to make cocktails except for the actual ingredients. The good: The shaker is nice, and seems to seal pretty well, and it's fairly easy to get the friction fit lid off without much hassle. The spoon is good for stirred drinks. The strainer is nice. The pestle is nice; has a flat plastic bottom that has some texture to really grind up some mint leaves for those mojitos. The bottle opener is functional and easy to use. The Rest: There are a few recipes on the front of the wooden stand. Why they would put half in metric (mL) and half in imperial units (oz) is beyond me. If you're selling this in the USA, put all recipes in ounces. The tongs are tiny and are adequate for grabbing 1 ice cube at a time, so fairly worthless unless you have quite large ice cubes. Overall for $30, you get a lot for your money and the most important pieces are decent. Five Stars

My husband recently decided that he wants a bar cart at home and has been collecting all the little odds and ends that go along with have said bar cart. So I got this set for him and he loves it!! It looks really nice and sleek and I love that it has a spot for each item to help keeps things organized! The quality of the caddy is really great! We love the little recipes on the outside of the organizer/caddy for different drinks. It is the same recipes on both sides though. My husband was really impressed that it came with a large jigger, shaker, strainer, muddler, mixing spoon, bottle opener, a little cleaning brush, and 3 spouts for bottles. I love that they are all able to go in the dishwasher too! This would make a great gift for the at home bartenders in your life! Lol

Decent set for a decent price. Has most things you'd need to make mixed cocktails. Quality is nice on both the metal goods and the wood holder. The reason 4 stars instead of 5 is the way all the items loosely fit in the wooden box. The slots are over sized so everything moves if you move the set which is kind of the point! However, at this price it is still a deal and something I could over look. The recipes on the side are nice and do not stand out too much which is good to keep the look!

I was attracted to this set for the wide assortment of cocktail tools and a first class shaker. The shaker, however is nothing special. I could not even get the cap off the top of the shaker and may have to use tools to get it loose. The bottle opener is made from a piece of stamped steel that has no rounding on the edges so is not comfortable to hold. But both of these are usable, but not a pleasure to use. The other accessories are also useful, but the attention to detail and quality are just not there. The wooden stand is kind of nice, but the recipes for cocktails are repeated on both the front and back, whereas with some thought they could have put other useful recipes on each side. Just not something I'm proud to show off on my bar. But there's nothing specific that is wrong with this set. It will get the job done
