This is a beautiful kettle. It is so easy to use. Heats up in just 2-3 minutes and keeps water hot for some time. I use it for hot tea at my office at work, takes little space and safe. The temperature setting is convenient and very precise too.

I really like this kettle but it has a couple of shortcomings. I'm a bit of a tea snob and I've been using a temperature controlled kettle for a few years so here are my thoughts. What I like: - Sleek design and has some heft to it. Doesn't feel cheap. - Excellent temperature dial. My old one has up and down buttons, and I really like the rotating dial on this model. - Keep warm slider is clever. Again, my old one has a "keep warm" button that you have to press every time. This one has a slider instead so it's "set and forget". I much prefer this to regulate temperature for subsequent brews. What I don't like: - Gooseneck spout has a clumsy pour. I almost gave it 3-stars for this but like I mentioned I'm a bit of a tea snob and I wanted to be fair as other's might not get as bothered as I was with this. A perfect gooseneck should be more tapered at the end in an arch shape. This kettle has a sharper bend at the end instead. This results (in my opinion) in a less-than-smooth tilt-to-pour movement. - Water will sputter out of the lid if you fill to the max line and set to boil at 212F. To be fair my old kettle does this as well. Most tea drinkers buying a gooseneck will rarely boil water to 212F so I don't consider this a problem. If you are someone that needs boiling water, I recommend filling to 1 inch below the max line, otherwise it's not an issue for temps lower than 205F even when filled to max line. All in all a good kettle. Can be a five star product with a couple of improvements by the manufacturer.

This is a great kettle for my tea making. It heats up water very quickly and quietly. The kettle looks nice and well made. This is by far the best kettle i have had. Would definitely recommend it.

Ordered this as a gift for my in-laws whose kettle died after several years of use. Loved the completely stainless steel interior with no additional metal gauge sticking out (makes cleaning easier). It was very simple to use, and boiled water fast. However. after about a week of use, my father-in-law noticed that it kept "keeping warm" after the water boiled, even when the button was off. This was a problem because my mother-in-law would boil water for tea, pour out all the water, and then the pot would still stay warm. So we ended up returning it.
