The product is primarily MDF, which is more common than not, so be sure to understand the difference. Beyond that, I am happily surprised at everything about this piece. The color is darker overall than it appears on the computer screen, closer to a charcoal, but with lighter striations that show as almost a light blue when the sun hits it. It does have a quality solid-wood top, which has a great mahogany-color and is probably a rubber wood. It is a very attractive piece of furniture. Shipping was odd, in that it came in two boxes and one arrived before the other. This lead to me initially contacting the company as there was no separate tracking provided through Amazon, and no indication that there would be another package coming. I received a reply quickly, providing the second tracking number and it arrived within another day. In addition, the company said at that point to alert them to any issues with the product itself as they would stand behind it. They did for sure. For those whom have assembled this type of furniture before, it's 9 drawers, so yikes(!), but you'll find it's very straight-forward. Those same people will also see that the engineering of the build is superior to almost anything that I've seen, including much more expensive, solid wood pieces. Those new to building furniture like this will find it a bit of a challenge, and MDF doesn't allow much for mistakes. This being said, the engineering produces a VERY sturdy and well-made piece of furniture. The glides are fantastic and allow the drawers to support a lot of weight, and they will not come out of their slots without some fidgeting with a release, so no broken toes. There was an issue during construction, in that they had sent one too few "right side" drawer pieces and one too many "left side". Therefore I did follow-up with the company and began to be very impressed with their service end, particularly with the fact that I was communicating with China. To start, they went through great lengths to ensure that they were getting the right information on the missing piece. I had to assure them that I didn't need a replacement for EVERY drawer piece, and only the one, which they would have accommodated. They came back with the info that the item was out of production, so they would need to build it, and with shipping it might take 10 weeks to receive the drawer piece. For this, they offered a $30 refund for the trouble. in addition, there was a second piece that had a small chip out of the finish on the MDF. They offered to replace that as well, or a $15 refund. It that it required a Sharpie to fix, I took the $15. So after about 2 hours, I had a fully assembled piece of furniture (the drawer was in place but not being used while missing a side). It's filled with all sorts of stuff for my 6 yr old, which is a selling point by itself, and is a very sturdy stand for a very expensive TV. Within a couple days, I had a $45 refund and assurances that a part was on the way, and 2 weeks after that, I have received the newly manufactured piece and finished assembly. Overall, this has been an outstanding buy for the money and I've received some of the best customer service that I've ever experienced from this company. Lots of stars for this.

We received one very heavy carton. It was very well packed, with no damage at all to the carton or contents. 100% assembly is required and there are a lot of pieces. That being said, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Construction took me and my husband about 4 hours (we did not rush) and we used a ratchet style screwdriver with no problem. All but a couple of holes did not match up, and those were on the back piece that goes against the wall and did not present a problem at all. The finished dresser is very attractive and suits our needs. It is heavy and sturdy, the 2 cabinet doors are soft close which I really like. The slides on the drawers work but not the best, I may replace them in the future. All in all, its a good product for the price point.

This item was easy to assemble, however it has very specific drawer and side pieces so pay attention. Ended up having a defective drawer assembly that is mounted to the wood and another section that the interlocking system of the camberlock popped through the wood. Contacted the seller, sent pictures and video and they helped to resolve this issue with replacement parts. Seller is fantastic at responding and working things out like this. The drawers have a type of soft close on them. Before sliding the barn style door have to make sure the drawer is all the way closed or the barn door will not slide. That is not a problem for me. Love how it matches other pieces and now have a little coffee station.

I have been very pleased with this piece of furniture ! It came in 2 boxes and was packed so well that at first, I thought some of the packing was part of the cabinet due to the sturdiness! It was very well protected. This furniture is very well made and is beautiful! I love it and would purchase it again! If you're thinking of buying this piece of furniture, do it, you will be pleased! It looks just like the picture and it is a beautiful blue color. It took me about 3 hours to put it together, but the instructions were clear and easy to understand. You will need 2 people during parts of the construction process. This purchase was a great experience and looks awesome in my home!

We had the cabinet almost completely assembled when we attempted to move it to its permanent location. It completely fell apart. It could not be put back together as the manufactured wood was pulled apart. We had already destroyed the carton it came in so we simply took it to the dump. It cost us $9.00 to get rid of it. It weighed 120pounds. I suggest don’t buy it. It was frustrating. It gets 0 stars. Very expensive mistake. It won’t let me submit this review without giving it a star.

I have dreaded putting this together for weeks, but finally decided to do it yesterday. This product has the best and easiest instructions to follow I have ever seen. The packaging was spot on and so meticulous! Every single one of the parts were present and in perfect shape. Assembly was a breeze and every single hole lined up perfectly! I have never received a product like this before where everything was present, in perfect shape, and went together flawlessly. The finished product is perfect and even better than we had hoped for.
